What is this season?

What is this season? There is so much loot being thrown at us for doing nothing.

Is this engaging? Is this what the player base wants? Progression is a blurr of nothingness.

Last season was better than this (non spiritborn). Challenge and progression felt good. I’m playing this and it’s like ‘i’m just doing stuff and things to do more pointless stuff and things’. I’m already strong (shred druid) what’s the point of getting stronger? Everything melts…

What’s with the drop tables? What are they compensating for? Are they just making sure we get our ancestrals this season?

If this is what the community wants, the community is killing this game.

I stood around for 5 hours and hit level 60.

It was pretty hard.

D4 had no progression to begin with…There is nothing to progress for…Since there is nothing to progress towards then progress is just equipping the higher number and that’s it.

Keep on wondering were that dude that said “we are going to add end game, and more end game, and end game on top of end game”, really miss that guy, probably the lies caught him eventually.

I do think the loot is a bit overkill. I’ve stated it many times, blizz can never seem to find the middle ground between too low drops and too many drops.

Last season, as a non meta shred druid… I struggled, found gear, improved, progressed. It felt right. You’re right though, there’s nothing difficult to fight once we’ve gone Super Saiyan to prove our mettle.

This feels very generic like D3. Very hemogenous.

Hey I’m a shred Druid. Seems fun so far.

why not 300? for each paragon lv it’s own torment lv.

If we’re being literal we get stronger to do harder activities. Which means higher torment levels 1-4, doing the bosses on those difficulty levels and reaching the highest pit level and time we can.

You do the activities to complete the seasonal journey and get the seasonal rewards caches.

Torment 16 may be a bit much but progression from 1-4 doesn’t take super long. You’re mostly held back by the need for elemental resistances per torment level. In retrospect that maybe makes it not so easy to add torment levels if you’re going to keep adding negative resistances. You could just stop taking away players resistances past torment 4 if you were going to add more levels of difficulty.

After a certain point each new torment becomes “easy mode”.

I think they should put more work into and revamp The Citadel. More and different cosmetics. Maybe not make it take so long. Add a matchmaking system. Which would require some class balance. Do it Blizzard. Balance the classes in your game.

There is way too much trash loot. But we need materials. So I don’t know how they’re going to fix this. I still hate the tempering system. There are way too few ‘good’ items for me to be bricking anything. Its a trash system that needs to GO.

Tempering does feel a little off. Rolling on a chance for your 1 skill to improve and the other 3 options are skills you don’t use? Even if you could infinitely reset it this is not fun.

You only realised that now???

Blizzard don’t know where the middleground is between “Too little” or “Too much”

They always have to go to one of the two exremes on either side

Eh, it’s more like when they find a good balance lots of people whine, and modern Blizzard has no spine and just does whatever the loudest casuals want, so there you go. Casuals also never show any sense of responsibility. They’ll tell you to nerf everything so the game is braindead easy… then when you do that, they won’t stick around, they’ll just leave because then the game is boring to them too.

I stop reading after “Im already strong” and “shred druid”

The community got pretty diluted by mmo players, casuals on the lazy zoomer side and people who don’t understand arpgs. These are the loudest voices and also outnumber the people who care about a heathy experience with longevety and understand arpgs.

when “Hard” difficulty is so easy you can speed run the game from level 1… i feel its kinda miss labeled.

in my experience, when some thing is “hard” it should be a struggle to overcome. a normal player should actually fail to a degree when its “hard”.

they can constantly say that this is exactly what the players wanted, but for some reason, every season fewer and fewer people play this god-forsaken game.

They are known for their love of justifying their mistakes and incompetence by arguing that this is exactly what the players wanted. It is what it is i mean there is probably no way to turn back anything.
