These.
Nothing else is needed. Some content should exist solely for the challenge after you have build a character and found gear.
That said, Blizzard should, at least to some degree increase minimum item power that drops the higher lvl you and the content is (both of these at the same time). Like at NM70 and lvl 100 you might never see items below 750 or whatever.
It should be possible to find that perfect item at lvl 70, the moment you enter WT4. It should just be a bit easier to do so when at lvl 100 and doing harder content, so there is some sense of progression, despite the power cap being the same.
It wants to be about that and I wish it was, but the legendary aspects all buff 1-2 builds per class and pigeonhole the player into Blizzard approved builds.
Theory crafting was my largest interest in this game, but D4 doesn’t reward theory crafting.
You can use WW; and use a different build. The World’s first used Kick. There is no build on that entire website using Kick. If you tried to use the S-Tier build, you couldn’t do it. So does that make the WW build with kick Super-S Tier?
I mean; what’s your point? The point that I’m making is, not a dang one of those builds clears NM100’s. They just get you close.
But builds DO exist that can clear NM 100’s that don’t rely on cheesing or bugs.
That said; to answer the OP’s questions – what is the point in running higher NM sigils?
The answer is bigger XP bonuses and better loot. I know man – y’all are going to tell me 3 levels up is the max XP rate; but it’s not. Y’all are gonna tell me gear stops getting better at Tier 31, but it doesn’t.
I ran 50 Tier 49’s and got one Item power 800 item. I run 1 75 and I get 3-4 a run.
I had a guy who spent a weekend running 49’s to go from 98-99. I went from 84-92 is the same amount of time. He literally asked me how I leveled so fast; I said “Higher NM’s.”
It takes 17,000,000 XP to go from 91-92. NM49’s give you like 140k in bonus XP from the lives bonus. The non-revive bonus is terrible; the XP rate from monsters is higher now that they nerfed XP down to 15%.
The rules before 1.10 are not the rules after 1.10.
You did not play Diablo 1, 2, or 3. I will forgive you that much.
But your argument is unfounded; the opportunity cost for “playing a game” without any reward is moronic, and if you think you gain “personal achievements” from video games, you have other concerns you should address.
I want to play and see massive damage doled out to every increasing difficulty mob, more and more so every time I log on. I don’t want to log on and see the same thing I saw last week and the week before: What is the point of a season if that’s the case? When you get to a point where you have itemized as much as possible and still get one shot, someone is being lazy, and it’s not me.
Like every Diablo before, there should be ways to upgrade your gear repeatedly after reaching peak level. Currently, killing level 125 mobs generally drops item level 680 stuff. That is, in itself, stupid. Stop playing Diablo, folks; work on a degree. =D lol
For example, why “scale” item level as a selling point when, as I have shown in another post, the item level of an 810 item is the same quality as that of 770? Why add level requirements to them at the same time? Why give mobs levels if they only drop rewards on par with the stuff you received 30 levels ago?
Why call it the “end game” when it is just “the end of the game.” Many questions, but no answers from your response. Try again, but answer from everyone’s perspective, not yours, because you have much time to do nothing.
Answer this question effectively: When and why did gaming become about anything other than wasting time and getting upgrades?
Hm, probably around the time the first game was created. In some cave somewhere.
Wasting time is a big part of it of course. Getting item upgrades is generally not a part of it. Progression often is, and item upgrades is one way to offer progression of course.
tbh nothing at first just for the challenge and the more xp glyph but once u have the ones u gonna use at lvl 21 theres no point cuz even the drops are the same, the loot is bad almost impossible to get upgrades once u close to 810 ip
I agree. Anyone who says you have to play meta to succeed has no idea what they are talking about. There are tons of videos on youtube showing different builds destroying uber lilith. Too many just cant accept failure and give up instead of rethinking their strategy and trying something else.
Bro you anwser something i post like in june…Btw i played a lot of d2 d3 and even d1 and i uninstalled d4 after 20 lv into season…I still have lv up 2 lv 100 druid before season so i was very hype but sadly this game is trash and have absolutely no content. In some way i thanks blizzard for that cause i stop gaming and even sold my gaming setup started the gym and some Muay Thai and my life is wayyyyy better.Peace!
You get more experience to level your glyphs. With higher dungeons you can save quite a few runs. Other than that the ratio of ancestral to sacred gets better with higher levels.
