i really maybe i should know this, but i don’t. is the bell sound a warning of a world boss or something coming up? have heard it sometimes while in dungeons. ty for info

it’s just background music.
Haven’t heard a bell sound. Is it from legendary drop? Those have a distinct sound when they drop.

I can hear it when I get a monster staggered, maybe that is it?
The battle pass makes noise too if you have something unlocked and haven’t checked.
thanks all, i will pay attention and try to figure it out. it is just this low key sounds like a chime i would say. i have my sound fx turned down super low anyways because corpse explosion going off non-stop was giving me a headache lol.

Next time you deplete the stagger bar for a boss pay attention to see if that is what it is
good advice. ty again. i just keep hearing it and i am wondering exactly what clue i am missing. i am getting it while fighting normal mobs and elites, i wonder if it is stun. i have some items that give me a chance of that.
You sure it’s not the sound of a legendary or ancestral dropping? Those have distinct chime like sounds.

Pretty sure some gold crafting mats (like angelbreath) make a chime noise when they drop.

That’s the cue to get inside the bubble or die horribly.
Vampiric mobs make a ding noise to alert you that their next attacks can regenerate them.
You can also hear a ding in nightmare dungeons when you have the lightning dome thing. The ding let’s you know to start following the floating thing around because the dome will appear any second.
Most probably legendary drop or objective met. Objectives will have that sparkle thing on map too.
It’s the Vampiric affix. You’ll hear the sound and you’ll see a red mist around them when they’re capable of regenerating health.
