In arpgs you “grind” for better gear as there is always that next level of difficulty to reach. For example in D3 you had the greater rift lvls to work through. You needed gear to advance to your goal to get to that next step, then better gear to get to the next step.
I am only 59 right now and my goal right now is to get to 100 but is that it? Once I am done all the side quests is there anything new when I reach 100; like some new tiers or reason to keep going other than getting the latest shiney?
It’s a personal thing, I don’t like to grind for the sake of grinding just to have the latest but I don’t mind grinding if I know I will be able to beat x now at level y and maybe get the drops I need for the next stage.
So honestly asking. If the goal is to get better gear to do something, what is the something.
Thxs, I asked my son and got one of those blank “what the hell you talking about” looks then he started talking about nightmare dungeons and also the Liliath fight.
I didn’t realize (although the one I did I saw level 1) that you progressed these so the “comparison” was these were equal to D3 GR in terms of advancing the end game.
Traditionally you’d grind higher tier gear, but for some reason T4 unique items are disabled. There currently aren’t any chase items in the game, so i guess you chase side quests or something. A genre built around item grinding, which disables the items worth grinding for. Only Blizzard.
