So I finally made it to T1 and have been farming but for the past day I haven’t seen a single other 'toon? Its like I am alone in the world. No one in the cities and I am sitting at the world boss and it got 8 minutes to go and there is no one here but me. What is going on? Also the lag is this the fix? We all get our own shard!?

Turn cross play on. Tons of ppl on everywhere in OW.
It happens. I sometimes have that no player issue even with cross play on. Sometimes bad(good?) luck hits and nobody shows up. Had that happen on a world boss a few times.
Are you playing Seasonal or eternal?
Most of last season I only saw others when doing WB etc… otherwise the overworld was completely dead.
Kinda nice though as I had almost zero lags.
Cerrigar was full of people yesterday, also helltides. Either you turned off crossplay or joined some island server.
There’s a lot of people playing but remember the big seasonal theme is dungeons. People are spending a lot of time there.
I keep seeing it in waves. Will be at forge updating an item and no one’s there. Then suddenly a huge wave of people will appear, run to occultist or forge, do some upgrading, and then start teleporting to dungeons. It’s pretty funny to see.
I am on Seasonal and I have turn off cross paly after the first day of season to see if that would clear up the lag which it did for only a tiny bit. I have turned cross play back on and now I see people but the dang lag is horrendous. I must have gotten stuck on a shard by myself which was weird.
