Why is Harlequin Crest?

Because it can either make you laugh like a harlequin if you get it, or feel crestfallen if you don’t.

Woooohaaaa!!!

Imagine having that for the rogue… doublewield :heart_eyes_cat:

A shako is a type of helmet such as the German shako. Basically a cap with a point on the crown and a plume.
The Harlequin Crest is a shako helmet that was in D1 and D2. In D3 it is available just as a transmog. I have no idea why people playing D4 refer to the Harlequin Crest as “Shako” because there are other shakos in the games.

There were other shakos in d2 as well, if you played it you would know that everyone called the unique item shako and hence why it’s reffered as a shako now too

Shako is a character from league of legends

Where is Shako???

It’s shorter than ‘harlequin crest’

There were other shakos in d2 as well (d1 as well?). Harlequin Crest was just the unique Shako.

In D2, everyone can get a shako.

D4? It is like hitting the mega millions.

I think its just slang for uber unique, but I could be wrong.

But is the D4 version better or as good as in D2 ? I am not of a high enough level in D4 to worry about it. My D2 character has ( 2 to all skills, 2 to all attributes 132 each to life and mana based on character level, physical damage received reduced by 10% and 50%chance for magic find.)

I just wondered what justified it being so extremely rare.

It might as well be the spawn of Mephisto for all the anger and hatred its brought to the player base.

Shako is love.

It’s when you drink a Shake and it’s so good it makes you go “Oh”.

It’s way more powerful in Diablo 4. Why? Because it gives +4 to all skills, and 20% damage reduction. Resource and cooldown are just the cherry on top.

Diablo 2’s shako is actually just a mid tier item, decent for magic find and that is it. Crafted rare tiaras/circlets are Best in Slot because of something called Faster Cast rate.

hi, The term “Shako” does not refer to a person!

Shako is a type of headgear that originated in Japan.
It is a traditional hat worn by certain officials and military officers during ceremonial occasions.

Shako hats typically have a tall, cylindrical shape and are made of stiff material such as felt or leather. They often feature a chin strap and decorative elements like badges or feathers.
Shako hats were commonly associated with military uniforms in the 19th century and were worn by soldiers in various European armies as well.

Today, shako hats are primarily used in ceremonial and historical reenactment contexts.
