That would be great. I get tired of hearing my player tell me, he/she is out of mana, energy… annoying. lol.
Even if there’s a short cool down on mana potion usage, I’d still be ok…

Yes, it would be great. The early-mid game mana generation is atrocious, and makes the game not fun, since the core skills suck.
I like the game, and the buffs were needed, but this mana generation thing is really a drag on the fun factor of the game.
Overall, the game is good, but could be great with some minor quality of life improvements.
Mana pots are literally the worst part of D2.
Please god no.
How about instead of Mana Potions we just give Insight, essentially, as a Core Area point investment.
explain. Without mana pots in D2, the game would have be slow as hell… Not to mention, it would be extremely boring… lol.
I play a trap assassin in D2… Imagine throwing 2-3 traps and have to wait while a ton of mobs chase after you…
That is the point. The whole game was balanced around a pot-chugging simulator, because it had pots.
I do not think alot of people realize this is not D2. You might want it to be but it’s not.
maybe it’s just me, but i don’t see anything wrong with D2 and pots. lol
It’s literally just a button that you’re forced to press over and over. It doesn’t add anything to gameplay. It’s just wearing out a key on your keyboard for no benefit.
you probably haven’t played D2 enough then to say that mana pots do not add anything to game play. I won’t judge you. Some players like me like to spam and enjoy a faster pace game and some like a slow pace…
I played D2 for well over a decade. Thousands of hours.
Having to press one button over and over again on a timer isn’t gameplay.
for me, having to spam basic skills or walk around until i can use my core skills again in D4 isn’t much of a game play to me. That kind of mechanic is boring and kills the action…
So you just want infinite mana with no resource cost to any skills then? Because that’s all potions did, except they made you smash a button to get it.
I’m pretty sure the devs don’t want that, and neither do I.
Then properly include resource management in your build
At least its better then this builder/spender system we have today.
Where as D4 is a wet noodle simulator because of the builder/spender system.
Sounds like builders with a different name to me.
Mana pots were just something you used until you solved your mana issues at the late game. The only annoying part was having to constantly restock.
You have awful takes.
Ditto to you.

I actually liked the Rej potions the most. We needed the potions in D2.
i play a rogue TB and i gain like 20-30 energy per mob killed with shadow imbuement. it does an ok job, but when you’re fighting tough mobs or bosses, it doesn’t work so well…
it’s annoying spamming my basic skills that does sheit damage and forced to run around until I can use my core skills again. Yeah, i know it’s only a few seconds, but that’s really a mode killer for me…
maybe D4 isn’t for me lol…
Can you please accept my bnet invite and log into game real quick? Or just accept my invite and I will check when I see you online later, no pressure
