What Happens to the Gold i earned from Season 1

does it vanish? Should i spend my gold?
does it carry over to eternal?

would love an official answer about this. thanks

seasonal characters move to the eternal realm. I think the only thing that doesnt transfer is some seasonal stuff

Eternal realm. S2 is brand new, just like S1 was. And when S3 starts, that’ll be new again.

I’m sure they probably mentioned all this somewhere but this is how seasons have worked in every single arpg ever. Won’t change now or ever. Seasonal characters get moved to the eternal realm along with their items, stash, money, resources, everything. Only things that will disappear are anything that has to do with the seasonal content like the malignant hearts and the crafting material for the hearts.

Clearly spelled out in the Season notes ‘How Seasons Work’ :point_down:

Once the Season has ended, the character you made and its progress will be transferred to the Eternal Realm . All items you collected, including in your Seasonal stash , will be transferred too. You can take this character into Sanctuary whenever you please, but Season-specific features such as Malignant Hearts will no longer be accessible.

98% of these type questions could be answered if players would just read the information provided by Blizzard.

my question is specfic and it’s about gold. It doesn’t mention gold.

It appears you have never played a Diablo season. In the 28 D3 seasons gold carried over to non season. From the s1 blog: “All items you collected.” If you do not want to believe people wait until s1 ends and check the eternal realm.

Correct but some people do not read the blogs they make no attempt to stay informed. They come to the forum ask questions and do not believe the answers. They expect Blizzard to correspond with them directly.

Common sense and the ability to read are lost amongst the player base. The information could be an easy Google search away and they’d still ask it in places such as these.

What part of “ALL ITEMS” are you having trouble understanding? Gold is an item.

It would be way easier for you to just say “Yes, your gold goes to eternal realm”

Trolling specific forums, as opposed to reddit, yet spending time to “duh” and patronize others sure makes you a small person.

I’m here because I was curious about gold. Mainly because up until now my life hasn’t been boring enough to play seasons in any game, yet clearly, yours has been.

He asked ‘did they mention this anywhere?’. Don’t get all butt-hurt that I pointed out to him that yes it was mentioned in the patch notes, if people would read them.
