My eternal realm character stash will already be full so does that mean that my seasonal stash will just disappear? Do my equipped items on my seasonal characters disappear when the season ends? I understand that my seasonal character becomes part of the eternal realm but I am concerned due to the limited stash space.

it will all move to the eternal realm and you have to claim everything or junk it.
In Diablo 3, you basically got it via internal mail. This letter could be opened in Non Season and all items were there. You could check the ones you wanted and they were then transferred to your inventory. I assume it will be similar here.
You offer this advice but couldn’t do it yourself to answer them. Interesting.

Your character, and any non season only special items will move to the eternal realm.
If you give a man a fish he is hungry again in an hour

you didnt do either of those.
