What happens if I can't reach level 20 and get the rewards due to beta issues?

I am not going to bash on the BETA.

I know how BETAs go.

But I am curious, if I cannot reach level 20 during this weekend because of ongoing issues, am I just going to be out of luck regarding the titles and the wolf cub cosmetic?

Could it be earnable during the open beta weekend when things might be fixed or run better?

if it were ever to be that bad im sure beta gets extension.

Have you guys been able to even get past the Kyordan quest where you get the amulet and weapon from the merchant and then give it to him? It freezes as soon as he rides off and even before that! I have ultimate spec’d pc, perfect connection but crash every 5-10 minutes tops when in-game.

Yes, you will get the rewards if you complete the tasks in either Beta weekend. It is not just this weekend only.

It wouldn’t be a trip to Sanctuary without earning a cache of unique rewards along the way. As you play Diablo IV during the Open Beta and Early Access weekends, showcase your wanderer’s prowess by collecting all three Open Beta rewards. Players who unlock these rewards will receive them once Diablo IV launches.

  • Initial Casualty Title: earned by reaching Kyovashad with one character.
  • Early Voyager Title: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.
  • Beta Wolf Pack Cosmetic Item: earned by reaching Level 20 on one character.

Yes, I have not had an issue with that. You might try the Tech Support forum.

For your own testing, try turning down graphics settings and see if it helps with any in-game stability or crashing.

Pretty sure they said character progress stays through both betas. So if you only get lv 10 this beta next one your level 10 character will still be there. Just skip all cutscenes, I’m level 14 and only have played 4 and a half hrs. It’s too buggy to waste time watching cutscenes
