And what are you hoping to see changed in S3 (other than the itemization overhaul in Season 4)?
I don’t expect anything from Diablo 4…it’s a game that was focused on the cell phone world…and reversing that is practically impossible. I bought the game recently (November) and I can already see that the game itself is a big mistake by Blizzard…once again.
After the total fiasco of Season 2, I expect nothing from D4 anymore. I’m not the target audience for this game. The developer team made that very clear.
They’ve made an amazing work on S2, honestly.
On the one hand, they must have learned that the Uber farming is a success with the amount of player engagement with that content. On the other hand, it’s probably the biggest duping and RMT case that has happened in the game since launch. It’s interesting to note that there’s no ban about the latter from Blizz, probably because it’s so massive and they prefer to just let it slide rather than risking another meltdown when the player count is rising.
I expect that there would be some changes to Uber farming in S3.
Personally, Uber farming sounded good at first but it has become an unengaging boring content to me. It’s a slot machine with a chore attached to it before you can pull the lever. I wish that Uber farming would be moved to a much more engaging content like a soloable raid, but I know that it can only come much later in the future.
While S2 was a lot better, I don’t expect anything from them anymore. Now I just wait and see which bad or good decisions they make instead of expecting something good and get disappointed with the outcome :^)
Hopefully they learned that the idea of leaving broken builds in the game and fixing them doesn’t equate to nerfing a class.
I’m really hoping that AoZ taught them how unbalanced the game is and the various exploits players will use to beat content. I’m also hoping it taught them that creating content basically just for the broken builds is a bad idea.
the power of friendship
I think they learned how to appease social media. Which is not great news for game quality.
They learned absolutely nothing. Diablo 3 is a better game in my opinion.
Developers continue to maintain their gradual self-confidence.
And still show everyone the mathematical knowledge they learned from the physical education teacher.
Enternal characters are dead.
That if they improve the battle pass they will make even more money.
Their target audience was 1% players base maybe…
Well im never sure they have learned anything lol. The game wont progress without itemization/set/ whatever. All the uber uniques will be redundant soon as they figure out how to bring in itemization. Games should not be released before they are finished…look at the mess they made for themselfs.
I am a 90’s boy and have played all the diablo games. D2 the most. I miss Loot in D4… Like how Unique’s inn d2 felt like, Runes, Jewels, Charms, (Charms inn d4 would be cool) Why did only Gems continue inn the Diablo franchise??. I miss getting random stuff and the feeling of getting good loot that I can trade with friends or Community. D4 now is like going to the beach and look Under rocks for treasure.
Casuals love Hell tides. Every season until the end of time will be a different colour of Hell tide recycled content.
nothing op , reason is simple nothing is learn from d3 same mistake are make again
Season 2 was a step in the right direction. The vampiric powers are fun, the blood harvest is enjoyable. The Blood seekers that randomly appear in a NMD is cool.
Granted there is still alot more things with the game that need to be addressed, still itemization is one of them, but that it supposed to be in S4. Better aspect or unique interactions with skills that change how they function. More exciting uniques to fuel builds.
