I really want to play Barbarian, but I already have a level 77 one I made at initial release. I think I’m going to make frozen orb go brrrrrrrrrrr.

I got really mad when my half baked season 3 druid pulverize build couldn’t clear end game content easy enough to complete the season journey and I had to switch to an actual build.

If Diablo 4 history is any guide, the preseason expected OP builds are usually not the OP builds.
It’s really hard to say this season. There is a tremendous amount of the patch that we don’t know.
What we do know, generically, is a lot of stuff changed. Some skills that previously had few or no buffs may end up with massive tempering buffs that open up completely new ways of thinking about things.
My first plan was Barb… but now I am gonna make a Necro first, and once that one can farm “higher level” pits for materials etc… then I will make my alts, starting with Barb. Also taking advantage of the “free set” we get from season journey… it just happens to be minions for Necro.

Frozen Orb Sorc second if it’s strong enough after the nerfs.
Bloodless Scream Necro no minions build. With chance to freeze tempering manuals.
Sticking with the hota barb. Not really a fan of ww or ds. Can I incorporate DD with a hota build?
Yes, there’s an Aspect to spit them out after generating 100 Fury and casting a Core Skill, and another every Shout. There’s a Temper that will give you a chance at double spawn.
Necro. Minion and hopefully it’s finally good.
