What ARPG has the best endgame?

I think I would love Diablo 4 if it only had better endgame, more stuff to do, more stuff to look forward to and if itemization wasn’t as bad.

What ARPGs you strongly recommend with good endgame and stuff to do, except POE.

You need to ask not what ARPG had a better end game, instead ask what GaaS has a better end game. And well, there are more to list than I have time.

Grim Dawn, Last Epoch and Diablo 2 Resurrected all have substantively better end games. D2R has a similarly shallow content loop, but with much better itemization, said content loop is more palatable.

Path of Exile is probably the only one with a good end game. D2’s end game was complete trash, it was just farming stuff for your next character in zones you already had to play through before. D3 was just an endless dungeon grind which some people liked but there were no real tiers of content, if you got sick of rifts you were pretty much sick of the game. PoE has a ton of options in what to do at end game including a series of pinnacle bosses to progress through.

To be fair I didn’t like the bosses and the game started to focus on them more and more so that end game actually hurt the game for me.

definitly poe

some characters

POE friend of mine told me Last Epoch has no endgame, yet.

Idk if its true or if he is just trying to get me to move over to POE with him lol.

Depends on what you want from end game.

But poe is kinda ultimate game for everything except pvp.

If you want pvp and trading and good itemization which are not so hard as in poe - D2R.
If you want mindless grind w/o real purpose with awfull itemization and bad core mechanics - than try D3.

PoE even with all the mistakes the devs took lately and all the long lasting problems it is still the best. When it comes to the option you have for juiced farming nothing comes close.

Hate me all you want but i really love d3 endgame.
Post RoS of course

They typically do not have an endgame at all.

Last Epoch is a pretty solid choice.

Diablo 2 for it’s itemization + replayability + trading + pvp.

Diablo 3.

You can play that forever.

Out of any ARPG? Lost ark. If you mean looter arpg? None of them. The end gsme is literally endlessly grinding for loot. Maps, NM dungeons, greater rifts, it doesnt matter. Its all the same.

LOL, Diablo 2 has an endgame???

Aye, farming loot for trade and alts. Did you not play Diablo 2?

Lost epoch was cool for a bit. Basically you go to an island doing random maps which fill out a bar after doing like 5-10 maps and then you can fight a boss. Doing so gives you a blessing (some perms stat boost) and you tackle the next island. Was cool for a bit but wore off fairly quickly.

Grim dawn was cool from what I can remember. It’s been about 5 years since I played it, but outside of the boring “repeat campaign on higher difficulty” it had an arena type thing with waves of enemies. Higher waves were stronger enemies and depending on how you do, the more chests you open up. This was cool for about 3 days.

Path of exile has maps which are cool but you have to farm up items to make them which makes it super boring. It’s also too complicated and I tend to stop playing a day after reaching maps.

D3 has the greater rifts which is filling up a bar by killing enemies which then spawns a boss. For some reason this is the only game that keeps me engaged for more than a week when reaching the end. Not a LOT longer, but like 3 weeks or so.

Finally there’s lost ark, but that is running the same boss fight every day, same dungeon twice a day and sane raid boss every week. That’s super boring because you are basically time gated behind daily and weekly things.

End game is grinding, they all do it, if you don’t like grinding then you probably don’t like the end games of diablo style ARPGs.

PoE had the best game content several years ago with daily, weekly, monthly fixed seed races. But they axed that. Now it just sucks.

I would love to see leaderboards for fixed seed races come to Diablo series or come back to PoE2.

I did, but I don’t consider a scavenger hunt for items much of and end game at all… D2 has no endgame imo.
