One would think that armory would be exciting, and sure, it’s useful but it just means more inventory clutter.
I did like not having to do class questions, but again, it’s fairly small thing…
Increased drop rate is fine too, but these are such small things…
Here is what I did not like:
Those 3 folks on the live stream - I have nothing against them, as they presented the info they have just fine, but man, their hype about these changes is just so underwhelming. There are so many interesting things blizz can do with itemization and nmd’s, yet they refuse.
Well yes, after I finished my own goals here on d4 went back to poe1 did play it on the last 2 weeks of december did my 36 challenges and was done with it now I’m looking for something to fill the void until the next release of poe 1.
im excited at all the extra free time i get to do other things since i wont bother playing this season like last season… hopefully they make d4 fun (again) soon…
Wasn’t here for S1-S5. Enjoyed a fireball Sorc in S6.
Rolling a Barb for S7. I will be here. Having a blast.
It truly is mind boggling how people who claim to not enjoy D4 still troll the D4 forums telling us how great POE2 is.
I got bored with WoW long ago and haven’t posted on the forums since.
Please go play POE2. Just don’t forget to stop by the Steam reviews and read all the complaints about how it’s not the perfect game that you think it is.
got so bored in S6 with spiritborn that I quit a week after playing, just recently came back to finish the bp.
I guess I’m “excited” to play rogue again in S7 and do the bp because I like shiny pixels and play dress up =)
I haven’t played 1 second of POE and my guess may not anytime soon, but it doesn’t mean d4 devs are in the vacuum… so pushing them to make the game better is appropriate
I get decide what I think is fun for me, no one else
I’ve never played POE either… but do think D4 is pretty amazing. Only complaint being a returning player for S6 (never played 1-5) is SB being broken all season.
Wasn’t a gamebreaking deal for me either way… so whatever.
Point being… the trolls here are going on and on about how great POE is and D4 needs to take notice… but I can go to the POE reviews on Steam and people are complaining about the same things they complain about in D4.
There is an occasional hit-n-run troll that you learn to just starve of attention. Most reasonable fans of each game accept their respective shortcomings.
hmm, i think people are a bit hyperbolic with the s2 comparisons. I mean, yea, there are similarities, but so what? i had fun in s2 for sure. Also, if we assume d4 will be relevant for 10ish years, its pretty hard to reinvent the wheel every time.
I prefer D4 over other games, finish what I wanna do in 2-6 weeks and relax after, play other games if I choose to… personally, I don’t like endless games in a 3 month season. Don’t have time or energy to grind whole 3 months every season… excited when every season starts though.
Good season, I play longer days, bad season play less.
Btw, played almost full season 2
right? thatd honestly be the horror for me. Just like i cant play wow anymore, with all their daily to do lists you need to do to stay relevant in mythic raids and m+.
I agree, I do wish they would take more risks or attempt the dial up the “epicness” of a season. I feels more like they have this checklist or design model that they can deviate much from. Maybe some of it is due to them trying to ground seasons into the lore of the game which I do appreciate as well. For example wouldn’t it be cool if infernal hordes was on a platform that lowered each level as you are descending into hell.
