What types of activities do you find the most engaging, that keep bringing you back for more within diablo 4?
Its not designed to be like D2. It does have an end point. D3 had maybe 4-7 days of content thankfully D4 has more but I can see them changing the game to appease the D3 crowd.
I myself am working on some for the HC achievements and will prob be done this weekend until S3 comes out. Ill go pick up starfield again which was my bridge game between S1 & S2.

It’s boring. There isn’t anything that’s actually fun at end game. When you are tired and not having fun just stop playing.

I am taking a bit of a break from the monotony and terrible rng.
Its the holidays anyway. Probably should spend some time with the family

I recently bought the game and left my necro at lvl 100…I saw that the game doesn’t give you the freedom to make bosses and I asked for ingredients to kill them…which I consider a very discouraging obstacle. It lacks items, it lacks interesting activities, it’s difficult to choose equipment… I spend more hours looking at yellow items than playing… it’s a game that has more negatives than positives. In less than 2 months of playing I’ve already gotten sick of the game…nothing is interesting in Diablo 4…that’s the reality.

Checking out the competition, POE’s trading system is amazing, go to the official website, search for the item, it shows you who has it, the price and who is online right now with it. Click invite to group all from the website. Blizz should straight up steal that idea.

reading the forums… I loaded up yesterday to claim some free horse and logout as quick. I guess I just have more fun playing wow classic sod. Ack i used that f word again.
I havent even tried that christmas event, i asked one of my buddies who is a completionist and he sounded like he was just grinding it out at a not fun pace just to complete it.
Playing other games until we know more about S3. I still like D4 there’s still just nothing to do end game currently.
im taking a semi break right now, except for when some friends play or when im up for some AoZ.
Season 2 kept me enganged for 2 months, its fine to have a little break every now and then.
I set up certain goals for my char that I think is fun for me to accomplish. This is all tied to the fact that I am a collector and a completionist by nature, lol. For example, I collected all 20 special rare items dropped by the named Elites throughout the open world. I also completed all Side Quests in the game; this one was particularly satisfying to me when I bring up my Renown and see “Region Completed” in all 5 areas 
I max’d out all of my glyphs including the 2 new glyphs the game added for Rogues and even those blue Magic glyphs - I just like having max’d out glyphs in case I want to re-do my paragon board and not worry about limitations on the radius and bonuses.
I’m still missing a couple of Uber Uniques, Andariel’s Visage and Ring of the Starless Skies. These two ubers are not necessary in any builds I’m using or any builds I’m interested in putting together but I’d like to have them, just in case.
Oh, and my gear is almost perfect for my Poison TB Rogue (all 925 IP with max’d out ideal stats) except for my amulet which is another reason I’ll farm Duriel.
I think I’ll also farm the mats for the Cow level soon. I’m hoping to get that going in case people figure out what to do with that stamina potion; I think this is where everyone searching for the Cow level is stuck at, the last I heard…
Anyways, still so many things for me to accomplish, I better get going!

Makes sense why you like d4. You like starfield which is another extremely bad game.

I seem to have a hard time playing d4. I yawn after minutes, fall asleep after an hour. I am not into d4 sadly, I try to log in and farm midwinter blight and I’m like, this game is such a boring unfinished cash grab platform. Dunno what else to say, d4 really blows.

Meh, its no skyrim but its an ok to just run around. Ill run around an horde loot till my ship is full. But yeah, its missing the space sim.
D4 is still better then D3 but D4 is no D2.
d4 its already a dead game on arrival. Sad…

I started playing in Season 2. Went all-in Barb with off-meta builds. But since I like experimenting and changing builds often, and being a chore as it is, I started playing Necromancer. Currently lvl 61 and really enjoying the experience.
Personally, trying out different builds and classes has helped stay in the game with no regrets. 
my dad works at EA sports, they know how to get in the game
I lasted longer this season, got a Doombringer and just hung it up. Duriel runs not fun. Glyphs are maxed. My gear is great. I could keep grinding for a Grandfather, but no thanks after nearly 100 runs and only 2 Ubers… Nope…
So, I will chill with something on Game Pass until Season 3. Hit the wall later this time, but the boredom set in quickly this past weekend.

Leveling up my Tears gem! I am so glad Blizz was able to slap together something like this in time for season 2. I was begging them for this type of activity since about a month after launch.

I enjoy the moment to moment gameplay of running around and killing things. I don’t find doing the same thing over and over boring, I find it comforting. So I’m not loot driven once the build is basically done (I don’t look for prefect rolls on items for example).
