What are you doing about Diablo 4?

ITT:

Poster makes a post about lack of character balance, no endgame , game breaking bugs and no fixes and he’s being roasted because he posted twitch views .

This will trigger the “twItCH vIeWs dOnT DeteRmIne IF a gaMe IS gooD OR Not” fan boys…

What about when D4 was “good” and “new” it still never really got views specially after the word was out…
Feels like the devs have given up honestly, like are they even looking at feedback anymore…feels like “PoE is out who cares put the game on life support”
And no im not a PoE fan i actually very much dislike it

If someone was using steam numbers or twitch number to compare an 1.5 year old game at the near end of a season to a brand new game to come out as an argument than he would be high on something for sure.

Anyone who makes the claim that a game that doesn’t let you skip the campaign has more content than a game that lets you skip the campaign and level up and progress doing endgame content from level one is also high on something.

I won’t reply to all messages but honestly it was my mistake to share Twitch numbers. I just wanted to mention that the game is going in a bad direction. Most of the replies are about Twitch numbers. I think you should ignore the Twitch viewing numbers and look at what I wrote about the game’s progress.

It is obvious that many Blizzard sycophants are still on duty on the forums. I can’t access this information but I think there weren’t many people testing on the PTR either. Season 7 can’t be saved with just the Armory update. There should be a real endgame and leaderboard so that people can stay until the last day of the season. But if there is a limit to everything, there can’t be a real endgame. For example, why is there a limit on the paragon? Why is there a limit on character features (Armor, critical strike chance etc.)?

I am neither against the game developers nor the game. I have been playing Diablo for years (since Diablo 1). Diablo 3 still has a lot of players because it has an endgame system that can be played as a group. It has been working for years. Diablo 4 is entering its 7th season and there are still a lot of bugs, there is still no solution to the duplication of materials, no in-game character balance (it is impossible to reach the levels that the spiritborn character reaches with other characters), there are no “fast builds” in season 7 that will make farm materials quickly and gain experience fast, etc…

In short, if you are going to write an answer or comment, do not get hung up on the twitch numbers, look at the real deficiencies in the game development. Because although it gets very little support on the forum, many people agree with me on what I wrote, most of them do not even want to enter the forum because they see that the Blizzard Diablo 4 team has no respect for the players anymore. I hope that those who read the comments properly and actually try to play the game will understand what I mean. I respectfully congratulate all players who continue to play Diablo 4 “patiently”, despite what the development team has done and has not done.

Like your mental gymnastic to devaluate twitch numbers

On the other hand OP was dumb enough to thinks that every player need to kill goblins and not whole player base, that was also amusing

How did they make you play with 1 character?

Then why are you writing on a place they rarely check for feedback?

The game is driven on metrics and short-term profits. They care more about the streamers that just dumped them for clicks with the next new game. I doubt players are even on the list of things to care about.
Non-existent loot chase, Mythics easier to get than a useful ancestral, 350+hr grind to P300 and RMT/dupes/bots running rampant and from a player perspective basically unchecked. Some of this is an easy fix yet we see nothing. The PTR played about the same as S6 with a few minor changes and a couple of runes. Big changes needed or count me out for a few seasons.

Bleed everyone for all they are worth and run it into the ground in the process. The new corporate business model.

Shame is not really a thing in the US (companies).

I’m full into POE2.
to come back to D4 and stop playing sorceress on POE, the sorcerer has to be fixed…otherwise no more battlepass money.
As as sorcerer I’m not having fun in D4. I’m sick and tired of sorcerer issues and season 6 is the worst season ever!!, and looking at the past PTR, season 7 will be way worse, so…

I love the Diablo Franchise and have since Diablo 1. I’ve spent more time on Diablo series games than any other video game across all consoles.

If you all remember Diablo III literally sucked for about the first year until the AH went away, rifts and GRifts were introduced, and seasons were born.

Endgame needs to be robust and it needs to be possible to complete with all classes, not just a single bugged to hell class and build. The disparity in power between the classes is too great. Its not enough to just fix the bugs, but bring balance to the classes and ensure theyre able to complete endgame content. Im not saying it needs to be easy, but it absolutely needs to be attainable, and the grind to get the gear required needs to be vastly improved and it has to be fun. WT4 drops as we all know are absolute garbage, you do 1k uber runs and see the abysmally low drops. You see the gear quality in pit150 is just as bad as pit 50.

Bottom line is that your player base is asking for fixes, and the development team seems to be disconnected from its player base and lacking in the passion of the game department. Without vast improvements, i dont see the spike in players lasting longer than about the first week of each new season. Im hopeful for the upcoming seasons, but im not going to keep spending countleas hours and money on a game that cant seem to care enough to produce a quality product for its players.

yeah…suuuuuuure!! I’ll tell you when I see it!!

Listen very carefully to me and I’ll tell you what is going to go down:

Diablo team watches PoE 2, plays PoE 2, takes notes on PoE 2, and then makes changes in D4 based on PoE 2.

and Knowing how “talented” they are, this will result into another flop…
I see it coming already

Idk I like the stuff Blizzard does at times. The world bosses were a cool concept and idea but their rewards kinda sucked. The Pit is a cool idea and the bosses while random are interesting, but it’s very limited content and repetitive. The Infernal Hordes is a nice way to farm up MW upgrades and get some gold and what not. It’s starting to get the stuff it needs but it kinda has nothing really to work towards. Pit 150 is just an arbritrary number to work towards atm and nothing else really changes right?

We had Duriel and Tormented Duriel, and now we have T4 Duriel, Andariel, Zir, etc… but we could use some longterm hardcore endgame to work on and progress towards. Something beyond just grind glyphs to 100 or whatever. Maybe a Boss path like Atlas from PoE 2 with pits you can modify on the way with items?

Call it Path of the Nephalem, or Sanctuary’s End, or whatever cool. Maybe you can insert a NMD into a slot on a journey towards a pathway and from time to time have to do a random node with a boss. Maybe you have a modified infernal horde event in another with a new boss and new modifiers. After so many bosses you earn a key to unlock a door to a realm, that realm has its own progression nodes that work towards an endgame boss encounter that pushes your build and skill. There are various Realms (Say Chaos, Hell, Heaven, Duality, Corruption, or whatever idk) and you enter at least 4 out of 6 for example to put together the final shard of the unrelenting, this takes you to the realm of Ruin where you have to progress through various nodes to the final boss of Ruin where only the very best are able to pass.

D3 originally had the infinite scaling GR’s and Paragon to grind, but this game has nothing like this. This is why it could learn from PoE and add in something similar but Blizzards own take on it.

To top it off the above pathway could also have separate raid nodes and pathways of Despair or whatever that work for group progression in endgame. The Dark Citadel being the first part of this journey to unlock the rest of the progression path for a season.

I’m cooking here, or trying at least. The entire super update patch could be called: Path of Ruin.

Or we can just have the Pit and what not I guess and some bosses added to the boss ladder in game simply I suppose and nothing more, but this game could be so much more.
