Did an event in Southeast foothills called Raze the Effigies. During the figh the mobs dropped dobrev taiga and I started collecting 100 of them. The event was over before I could get all 100. So just curious as to what this was for, since it’s the first time I’m seeing it.
Are you WT3 or have completed the story? If so, it’s a Tree of Whispers quest item.
Location: Fractured Peaks. Bounty Tier: 2.
The Tree of Whispers thirsts, and asks another favor. Harvest Venous Motes from any slain foe and offer it to the Altar of Reaping.
Objective:
- Harvest venous motes from enemies
- Deposit venous motes into the Altar of Reaping
I completed the campaign, but I’m still on WT2 as I’m not quite 50 yet.
It still applies to WT2. You get the Whispers events after campaign completion. It’s a Tree of Whispers event quest.
Ok thank you. I guess I’m just not seeing the marker on the map for the altar or reaping.
So when I did this quest, there wasn’t a marker for the altar. Kinda confusing. There should be on in the area though. My Main character doesn’t even show ToW quests on the map except for Caldeum.
