such good story telling, its so easy to get absorbed into the world of diablo with this type of story telling. 10/10 imo
He may indeed be in the grave as a mortal, but Blizzard can create any narrative they wish as far as immortality and getting his wings back. Guess we will just have to play the game and see.

The issue is, they left it open to interpretation and probably on purpose. I do not know where he is either after watching all the videos. Is he in the grave that lorath is talking to?
They showed Tyrael when they said “faded into memory.” Also, Lorath never referred to Tyrael as “brother” in D3.

Maybe the angels and characters that faded into memory will surface in expansions or seasons. Much like I bet the lesser prime evils will come back to. But I have no idea what I’m talking about only speculation.
Tyrael was an archangel, so when (if) he died his essence would be recreated via the Crystal Arch. I do not know how long that would take. The last we saw of Tyrael he was back in heaven. The D4 developers have said that heaven has closed its gates, they are not answering the phone. If Tyrael died because he was mortal and his essence comes back, would he still be mortal? At this point I do not believe that it is him in the grave, but I could be wrong, will see in a few weeks.

Angels don’t reform as the same individual in the Arch. It’s not even like Dr Who reincarnation since no memories either. Just the aspect they embody.
He didn’t create the worldstone. Stole it with Lilith and few other angels and demons from Pandemonium then hid it…then later modified it slightly.

Because his only wish is justice and he will interfere in the affairs of the mortals again to save them xD
I mean Lorath went from a young kid in D3 to an old washed up veteran in d4…
It’s more than possible Tyrael already died in game…
I’d add, that my conspiracy theory is that the girl we met during the A1 quest chain is his daughter. They hyped her up a bit too much as being important, and that’s the only reason I can figure why. It’d also make sense as to why Lorath was staying in the area near where she lived, perhaps to check in since Tyrael is gone.
Tyrael is in heaven and is part of the Angiris Council and after Malthael’s death the door was closed by heaven and no communication with anyone was possible anymore.
They are having router issues.
