youāre supposed to just reroll a new character of the same class, they said this before launch.
Be happy it is only 8 mill. In the beta, it was 52,000 gold @ Level ~75 according to videos blizzard released during beta times.
52000 * 225 = 11.7 mill
also, i have 53 mill atm as a L 93 barb. Around L60, i sold all my yellows and broke down legendary. Donāt just break down stuff, sell themā¦ Eventually when you have over ~200 legendary pieces for upgrades and such, sell the legendary too, each legendary is around 50-100k gold each.
Nightmare Dungeons flood you with crystals. There becomes a point where salvaging isnāt really needed, as long as youāre running nightmare dungeons. This might dip if you do a big craft or suddenly upgrade several pieces, but the veiled crystal sustain from dungeons alone is more than enough.
I agree with you on this - I was trying to change my build too, and I didnāt - too expensive and that doesnāt allow players to experiment new buildsā¦IMO it should be free.

I find myself seldom needing to do a āfull respecā.
I just move a few points around at a time, as I get a new piece of gear or want to try different things.
I canāt imagine just pushing the ārefund allā buttonā¦ as any new build Iād think of would probably involve putting half my points back into the same passives.
That was interesting. I couldnāt see myself doing that all day though.
Yeahā¦ this game is a bloody mess what most players cant see, If everything is fixed then iāll be gladly to start over on new character when the season starts, no exploit party reset on everything is stupid ridiculous, thatās the problem

im mid 60ās and just an inventory of yellows is around 300kā¦that takes literally no time to get. and if u sell legendaries its more.
youāre lucky you have a reroll option, d2 didnt, and rerolling isnt something that necessarily belongs in ARPGs. every ARPG with a reroll option is worse than the same ARPG with no reroll option because rerolling diminishes your choices and dedication to a character.
anyway, get rid of rerolling in d4! thats my opinion.
Easy to get the Money, Just go for āHigher Gold Dropā on Nightmare Dungeons and start picking up all the 500 Gold Piles, Maybe you get Lucky with a Greed Shrine, so you have a 5k to 10k Bonus Gold in this Run, duuuh
Still missing the āMore Gold Dropā Stat on my Equipment, so we can reroll another Stat for a 10 Mio. Gold Reroll :-/

The mounting reroll costs along with all the other tremendous gold costs in the game is making it impossible to really change anything with your character without significant investment in grinding. My sorc currently uses a blizzard/frost nova/hydra build that i created which works great so far but the gameplay is boring and i would like to try out more fun builds with lightning. However because of the other major flaws in game design that work off each other, combined with the high gold costs you really cant keep experimenting and tweaking the build. So iām currently stuck with this build that i dont like because i dont want to have to spend all of my gold on it and the gear rerolls. And rerolling a new sorc to my current level is out of the questions, it took me from release day til now investing heavily in time, no way im going through that again. Add the frequent random nerfs to builds that force people to reroll, the costs are a real problem in this game.

Yea i agree that its overly excessive. Theres no reason a respec of any kind should cost more than 1-2m period, 8m for paragon reset is asinine.
I get they want ppl to spend time farming gold, but that and how fast enchanting scales needs to be lowered. They dont even let us sell gems for a reasonable price. Four gold for a royal diamond? Ok rofl.

I also feel like if blizz is going to nerf every decent build from orbit we should at least get a free respec after large patches or something.

This is the kind of game where you want to reset constantly, I donāt understand why they would not want you to do this. I like trying out every skill my class has.
