Not looking for the most OP class. Looking for a good solo class that’s fun to play through out the game. Don’t really have a lot of time to switch between classes. What classes have everyone been enjoying playing solo?
Necro so far has been very enjoyable and theres tons of build diversity and fantasy if thats what your into

Necro.
Go with a Blood Surge/Corpse Explosion build to level up to 50.
After that you can re-spec into any of the various minion hybrid builds while you farm out the Infinimist or Blood Lance gear.
Also remember 1000 * 1.40 = 1040

I’d like a class where I’m actually doing the damage. Necro feels too passive.
How are Barbs this season ?
One that you enjoy playing would be the best answer. I don’t know what’s “fun” for you. I enjoy Rogue myself but it’s a very active, very high paced type of gameplay.
Many people here suggest necro which I feel is much slower in nature, doesn’t have a lot of mobility, but starts out powerful and continues to stay powerful throughout the game.
Sorc can also be fun, they’re known to be glass cannons, but if built correctly shouldn’t have too many issues, but they can also be resource hogs (depending on the build).
Barb is all about resource management, they hit hard but they spend a lot of resource doing so, as such leveling one can feel very boring in the early game.
Druid is a mixed bag I feel, they have powerful builds, but the leveling process can be quite slow on them, regardless of what build you pick.
Up to you really, if you had fun with any particular class prior to Season 2 I would say play that again if you want to play it safe. Or try something else entirely, worst case scenario you get 20 levels in find out it’s not for you and change it up.

Barbs are very 1000 * 1.40 = 1040 in the early game, if you dont have a lot of time to play and know the gear/skill pathing well then you might not have as much fun as say Necro. If you like melee then go Rogue, you can build into Twisting Blades and use the same build the entire time.

Sounds right except the bit about Sorc. They are still by far the weakest class but are fun to level. They are mostly glass, no cannon.
They can be fun but you will be far less powerful than all other classes when you get into the endgame activities.

My suggestion is try and new build of yoir maing each season. It’s alll temporary and you arent competing against anyone. Even if it ends up sucking, the process of theory crafting it together ends up being much more worthwhile than just following someone elses guide.

They’re all solo classes, this is a solo online game.
I have played all the classes, Sorc and Necro to 100+
I am having more fun than I have had with them all on Barb right now.
I went with a Necromancer minions build and that was a mistakes, the minions die when something looks at them. I will be going back to the pulverize Druid with companions at least the werewolves do not die all the time.
You’re not frustrated by the constant need to spam your builder which does zero damage ten times before you can use a damage skill?
I quit my barb after an hour, but that was launch week so maybe they’re less painful now?
Nah I use frenzy which is fun, and not really having issues with Fury.
Yet always online. Bobby wins again.
So far I have found sorc to be the most fun overall. They are followed closely by rogue on the fun scale. Rogues are stronger than sorcs though.
