Is the werebear build just a leveling build? It seems to be complete trash in endgame play. Also does shape shift bonuses apply if you stay in bear form? There’s like one skill if you stay in bear form for 12 seconds my gear makes bear form my normal form unless I open a chest or some other normal game play that reverts me back. Is there a book or something I can purchase to figure out how this game works or do I just model my character after someone else’s every season?
So it might help if you give more info on your build.
Are you using an online build of any nature or just winging it?
What skills do you use?
Druids in general are not the best class right now but they can certainly get to pit levels 100+ with the right gear/setup.

I tried a pulverize build it did not work for me, my pulverize build keeps me alive longer but I’m not going to search endlessly for a 1% gear drop these builds I see are based around. It seems the bear builds just suck at endgame. I do not understand the game at all and I’m not going to put thousands of hours researching every gear perk and skill set. Basically is all endgame just for Uber nerds and their followers who copy their builds? My skills are maul, pulverize, debilitating roar, trample, boulder, and grizzly rage. My boons are gift of the stag, scythe talons, avian wrath, bolster, and masochistic. My gear is vasilys prayer, insatiable fury, archon gauntlets of trampled earth, temerity, hectic archon greaves, cannibals chopper of the ursine horror, shockwave choker, airidahs inexorable will, and mother’s embrace
I get it that you wanted to make a homebrew build, but your setup is garbage. Just give the maxroll or mobalitics build a shot, it might preform better that what you came up with. What paragon boards and glyphs did you choose?

So basically the +3 all werebear skills armor is garbage, this game is so stupidly illogical. I’m building a werebear you think that +3 armor was a no brainer. Yea I’m done with trying to figure out this stupid game. Werebear = werebear armor+ werebear skills, but game developers feel that’s stupid you should have to change to a druid for wind sheer then a wolf for blood howl then a bear for pulverize. Absolutely stupid game. Yes I have a barbarian but I lean towards logic and common sense so I probably built him wrong too.
Isatiable furry is good for Boss fights, but just not generaly good. Uniques this season are outshined by legendary tempering stats. It’s not hard to understand the synergies, and what is working with what and why. Your build is not very well thought out, and utilizeing the best multipliers, so just give one of the build guides a try.

That sucks. I don’t understand synergies at all. Tempering only helps if you can get the material which I cannot so it looks like I can’t stay in werebear form if I want to play as a werebear. This game is about the equivalent of saying to get better at breaking coconuts with my hand I should combine iron hand with playing the kazoo and ballet. Apparently I’m burdened by a world of if A=B and B=C then A also equals C logic.
I would say… you havent seeked out the most of the bear druid.
Bear form is now the strongest, if not one of the strongest build. Non bugged, legit, and it is being buffed next season.
Try bear and landslide with vasilys prayer and insatiable fury. Someone calls it as AK47 druid.
Just google it and enjoy its powerfulness.
Do not say bears suck 100+ without searching and theorycrafting. At least be good at copying builds.

The earth bear landslide from icy veins ? The one with only 2 werebear skills both being cool down skills? How do I get the most out of this +3 all werebear skills armor or are all werebear builds focused around 1 or 2 werebear skills only? What is theory crafting?
Nope dont trust icy vein.
On season4, bear druids cleared T130+ with using bear form and landslide.

Is it a YouTube video? I cannot find a layout for the build like the icy veins one. Just watch the rob video and write the build down on paper? Thank you for helping I’m very knew to this type of game which I don’t understand at all. All of my builds in Diablo 3 worked with no issues, in Diablo 2 I only struggled with the ancients quest.

Thank you I absolutely will. I think I found a link to the build on the YouTube video but it has no werebear action skills can you verify this is the build? If it is I just stay in werebear form and use no werebear skills? I feel like I’m losing my mind here.
The helm turns Earth skills into Werebear skills.

So the plus 3 goes to them? I just thought it meant they fortify you.
Yes it converts earth to werebear and then you can get the +3 to all your earth skills.
That is only going to work in S5. You can replicate it, it will work, but will not have the same effectiveness.

That build is unplayable with some godly gear. Keep getting out of mama constantly… so very suitable for a starter like OP. Pulverise is like the only decent one without the need of some godly rolls to do like pit 80 qbove that you are going to keep farming for good gear

Good build requires good gear. Pulv are also decent choice for pit farms. Both builds are viable on 80+ tier farming for mats. Vasily is very cheap, and so as insatiable fury with only one or two GAs. Spirit gen issue probably because you dont know how to play it properly, since it heavily relies on metamorphosis + Tibaults will spirit regen.
