That’s not why they are steering clear of this place.
It’s all about the numbers. Tens of millions of people look on twitter every day. Last I checked, twitter and the other platforms they post on, are not exactly “user friendly” either.
Simply put, they post where they can reach the most people.
Because the game is amazing and awesome, they don’t need to look at the forum.
Plus people mostly use it to complain, rarely do people use it to post all the positive stuff. If just 0.1% of the 99% happy players posted positive things then you wouldn’t even see a single negative thing on the forums.

Don’t be so harsh on yourself! I am sure you are still loved by someone. Don’t give up on yourself. If you feel dumb and clueless then there are steps you can take to prevent those feelings.
For clarification, forum moderators serve the role of policing the forum. Community managers are the ones who collect feedback and pass it on to the develipers.
Community Manager (Adam Fletcher, you can write to him on twitter) said at the last twitch video something like: We gathered feedback from Twitter.
This forum is only for “us”.

Yeah New World was amazing and awesome too, until it wasn’t. lol
At least with that game it never was good lol, it was a failed game from the start. It was released about 4-5 years too early.
New World was amazing during the launch early leveling experience, and then it has literally no end-game. Everyone loved it for like a month until they hit the endgame which had no content and was full of imbalanced stuff and bugs. Sound familiar? This game is the same thing, released way too early.

These forums are not your chatrooms with the devs.
Who ever told you otherwise?
Devs used to be active on forums.
Indie studio devs post all the time on Steam forums.
But they aren’t egotistical blowhards either.
