Being wrong for the wrong reason.
Some people complained pre-season that they wouldnt be able to complete season journey for whatever inane reason, but i dont think anyone foresaw Blizzard breaking the first chapter on the season journey by giving arcana absolutely dismal drop rates.
Im paragon 112 and still stuck at 2. Of all the reasons to not be able to finish the season journey, that wasnt on my bingo card. Nice job blizz

I wasted 35 hours of my life for this:

They’ve started to drop for me but another thing I don’t like about this game is the lack of good activation runes dropping for a long time. You get ones like drink a healing potion or become injured. Eventually seemingly on que better runes start dropping but before that the rune system doesn’t feel worth using.
Good ones are not just rare. They literally don’t start dropping until you’ve played for a few days. Then they seemingly become less rare. Funny that.
Arcana was never dropping then eventually I miraculously got 1 even though every other objective within a tier was finished way way way before the first one dropped. Arcana is the last thing to drop in any of the combined objectives and it doesn’t feel right because by the time an objective tier is finished you end up unlocking something like 7 of them because they were all waiting on the arcana to drop.
Lvl 46, got 9 arcana. But now hit a wall since sigils with Strongroom affix refuse to drop.
Only thing I could think of is starting a new character and trying to unbug your current character. Run through a few dungeons with that new character and go through the strongrooms. See if that helps any. It may not though.

I have a fire mage in eternal. This would be the perfect pet thematically. So i have that at least.
