I personally loved fighting the Nemesis in D3. I really hope this comes back. Killing the demon that killed friends or guildmates and then sending a package. To let them know they been avenged. Hearing the drums to let you know its coming for you. Would be a nice thing to add maybe.
We got the butcher. I think he’s the nemesis this time round. If they do put in a nemesis, it would be highly entertaining to have it rampage until slain.
From what I recall reading, butcher is not the only possible spawn.
I’ve heard rumours that other icons will be spawnable, however we only know of the butcher for the moment.
I still think perhaps the most terrifying would be Malthael. From a lore standpoint he’s gone, buuuut, it would be amusing.
The Skeleton King would be a classic as well.
I would love the old gang from D2 + D3 to make an appearance (and fight us) out-of-the-blue:
-
Aranae the Shadow Weaver (Giant Spider Queen)
-
Blood Raven
-
Shenk the Overseer
-
Siegebreaker
-
Skeleton King
-
The Summoner
The Seven Evils:
- Andariel
- Asmodan
- Baal
- Belial
- Diablo
- Duriel
- Mephisto
The Beetles
- John
- Paul
- George
- Ringo
Breakfast
- Bacon
- Eggs
- Toast
- Orange Juice
- Milk
Sorry … it’s almost 7:00 AM on a Sunday … and I am getting hungry.
You forgot the Summoner and the Dark Wanderer, whom together with Blood Raven is the hero gang from D1.
Thanks, I added The Summoner … but the Dark Wanderer didn’t actually DO anything on-screen?
You see him briefly as you leave Kurast in D2. Otherwise mainly featuring in the cutscenes.
LOL … yes, I know.
I should have clarified that I meant Bosses that you fight on-screen … that was my fault … I fixed it in my earlier post to read more clear.
Oh yes, Zoltan Kulle.
Projectile reflect needs to stay dead.
“Oh gods here comes the death spiral cloud thing again”!!! (That one needs to seriously go, I lost count of the times I got nuked by that aoe when I was new to that game )
Zoltán is a Hungarian male name. Maybe there were some Hungarian developers at Blizzard.
By the way. “Akarat” is also a Hungarian word in the Rogue announcement trailer and it means “will”. Anya means “mother”.
Have you noticed the names of the locations in the fractured peaks? very eastern european.
I’d like to see King Leoric randomly show up
I sure would love to see people getting beaten up by a random spawn of Treehead Woodfist and his gang of thugs
