How come every one trying to poop on Diablo 4 will say they played Diablo 2 for a very long time and then at the same time complain that the season is only “malignant hearts”
Diablo 2 didn’t even have new content you just had “ladder” exclusive bosses and items

the seasons in this game are hilariously bad
the first dungeon you do, you can’t even complete the quest because you won’t have the malignant invokers
because you have to farm the dungeons a bunch of times just to get one
btw i think 99% of the playerbase would have rathered the D4 devs addressed the issues with the game instead of trying to get more $ out of players via seasons and battle passes… total trash

eh ? i made 3 characters and none of them had this problem. (though for the 2 others, the items are account-wide so that doesn’t say much i guess)
might have been lucky but still…first i read that.
Difference being, it had good and rewarding itemization which kept the players playing, even though battlenet sucked at first. D4 isn’t rewarding. 
At least diablo 2 HAD a ladder.
This game has nothing other than boring linear exp gain averaging about 1.5 hours per level from 50-100.
It is SO boring.

D4 season rewards are totally worthless
the cosmetics are trash
you don’t keep any of the gems after the season
contrast this with D3 which gave you a FULL SET of useful gear
i also find it hilarious you only get like 10% of the season rewards if you don’t give money grubbing blizzard more money
a scummy company that owns the diablo IP and are milking it for cash

Well diablo 2 didn’t have a loot Piñata every 6h, or 10 different dungeons under 120 different names…
It had unique randomly generated dungeons and areas, probably close to the amount of dungeons in D4, an immese itemization/crafting that was enough to keep people playing the game over and over for 20 years… And to this day some people are still playing D2 in 800x600.
Half the people complain the leveling is too slow the other half are complaining it’s too fast

Ya theyre comparing it to the previous game, and theyre mad but theres a reason for it.
Its not some first try ARPG from a small studio trying to break into the genre. Its Diablo, which means its Star Wars, its a massive IP with lots of history. It changed the face of gaming in a profound way. Its legendary, the studio is legendary.
… and it aint great. But thats why its not being treated like other games. Its freaking Diablo. If WoW 2 came out and it was just ok? People would go insane, and rightfully so imo.
EDIT: And PoE 2 should not have been able to dunk that hard on freaking Diablo, but it did

It is objectively too slow. It is much slower than what it was before the season.
How long do you think is a reasonable amount of time to reach level 100? If I play this game 8 hours a day every day how many days should go by until I reach level 100?
Right now the answer to that is about 20 days.

Hey… The reason the sets were useful wasn’t the stats but the attributes.
Legendary powers are literally that, Druid season reward 2 is basically bis for pulv druid and basically is just +50% damage increase and a huge aoe increase…
Also, You get the legendary powers and favor rewards if you own the pass or not, literally the same as haedrigs gift.
They drop most from cellars believe it or not I have lots of invokers
