Fire Bolt enchant now causes burning enemies to take additional burning damage rather than apply burning. We felt that fire bolt had become mandatory for every build and severely limited the enchantment choices.

The devastation passive now reduces mana cost by 3% per skill point.

Protection passive now lasts 5 seconds.

Reworked several Paragon boards to allow for more Armor nodes.

Fire Bolt and Ice Bolt now gain an additional projectile per level (up to 5).

Arc Lash now gains 10% extra range per additional skill level (up to 40%).

Fixed a bug with the unique teleport armor that caused the Sorcerer to stop attacking for a short period.
FROZEN ORB

Orb now travels to targeted location. This should give the skill more versatility when facing melee enemies.

Orb now shoots 40% more ice shards while traveling. We felt the skill’s damage was too tilted towards the orb explosion.

Reduced mana cost by 5.

Frozen Orb now deals 25% more damage.
Charged Bolt

Aspect of Static Cling now causes all charged bolts to be attracted to enemies on crit for 1 second.

Increased the size of the nova when 3 charged bolts of the same cast hit a target.

Added a new aspect that increases the amount of bolts per cast by 3-5.
Fire Ball

Mana cost is now 30.

Removed the negative damage roll from Gloves of the Illuminator.

Staff of Endless Rage now casts 2 additional projectiles on every cast.

Fireball damage increased by 15%.

Fireball enchantment has been changed. Lucky Hit: 20% chance on crit to cause the enemy to explode if it is burning.
Chain Lightning

Restored the amount of chains the skill had during beta.

Aspect of Unbroken Tether now always chains 2 additional times.

Recharging Aspect now restores 4-6 mana on any bounce.

Chain Lightning damage increased by 15%.
Incinerate

The skill has been reworked entirely. In a game where positioning and constant movement is key to survival, we felt that channeling a skill for an extended period of time on a class with minimal defenses did not fit the theme.

Incinerate is now called Firestorm. Upon casting, the Sorcerer becomes engulfed in flames and burns enemies in a nova that follows him. While active, the Sorcerer’s mana slowly depletes and all active (non-cooldown) skills are disabled except for basic attacks.

While Firestorm is active, all projectiles aimed at the Sorcerer have a 10% chance to burn before reaching him.
Hydra
-
Hydras now cast a small fireball on hit.

Serpentine Aspect can now add 2 additional hydras if used on a staff.

The Hydra enchantment has been changed. You now gain a 5-headed hydra for every 5th cast of hydra.
Ice Blades

Ice Blades now have splash damage.

Increased Ice Blades damage by 40%.

Enchantment now casts an Ice Blade on a random enemy for every cooldown skill used.
Blizzard

Removed Glacial aspect.

Blizzard is no longer a damage over time skill. It now casts exploding Ice Spikes for its duration. We felt the skill could not be scaled well as a damage over time skill and was too reliant on its aspect which could also not be scaled through skill levels.

Blizzard damage increased by 25%.
Meteor

Increased Meteor area of effect by 40%.

Reduced mana cost by 5.
Ball Lightning

Reduced mana cost by 10. We’re sorry for the previous mana cost. We honestly don’t know what we were thinking. Maybe one of our designers thought crackling energy was really cool, but it’s pretty clear no one likes that mechanic.
