My launcher isn’t reading me as being in-game, and I initially was able to join my friends party, but after the first DC and queue, the game tells me that her and I have different versions of diablo IV, but we clearly do not. Our versions match in the launcher and she can’t even invite me to a game because her friends list reads me as not being in-game.
I was playing as well got disconnected at lvl5, now can not join friends party due to different versions
My friends and I are having this issue as well. Two of us were playing together fine, but could not invite the third due to “different versions”. Attempted to create a new character, and now the two that could play together are no longer listed as “online” to each other.
After turning off crossplay, I was able to see my friend as online again. Re-enabled crossplay (so that we were both crossplay enabled) and was able to join back up with him.
Same here. I am literraly sitting in the same room, both on PC’s but error saying Different Version of D4 cannot play together. We both have same version of game in Client and were able to group up prior to first disconnection.
we have both removed and re-added Cross play but nothing
where do I go to turn cross play on or off, is it in diablo 4 settings or battlenet
Settings, Social. They are the first two toggles in at top
Can confirm that 3 of us still cannot party even after toggling the Cross play settings
Yea, we are still having this issue, tried variations of the crossplay enabled thing, and both have tried closing out of bnet and rejoining the queue. Looks like we’re stuck playing a single player “Always online” game. LOL
We toggled cross play on and off but could not join until we both changed zones. Afterwards were able to party up again.
thanks for the heads up, still battling the queue boss but will try that after we’re both finally playing again!
