Weighting drops? Really?

Straight from blizzards mouth… amulets and rings were incorrectly weighted… so if drops are weighted, I’m sure everything is somehow weighted… why does this even exist… “bugs” against player progression, weighted against progression… just feels like shady unfair, unethical stuff

Weighting is a normal part of RPG loot mechanics. How do you think rarity works?

I was about to say. Must be their first ARPG like Diablo. Wait til they play PoE, LE, or any other similar titles.

Or Pokémon… or BG3…. or Borderlands… or… well… literally any RPG.

Some people want to login, click a button, and have all the best loot in their bag automatically, in every game they play.

You do realize they could be weighted in favor of progression?
Like, the sad itemization D4 got currently, is heavily weighted toward fast progression.

Weighted drops was no secret. When people datamine the game you can see the weight right there.
