Weapon Damage not correct on Character sheet

So my weapon shows 596 DPS
My character sheet shows 542!

Why?

One is dps, one is weapon damage. If I were a betting man, Iā€™d say that weapon has a 1.1 Attack per second. 542*1.1 = 596 tada!
