Weapon cosmetics reset automatically when we unequipped/equip a new weapon ( or the same as before ) even if it’s the same weapon type.
When you purchase an MTX bundle to have a weapon skin and that he get removed each time you change weapon, it’s really bad since you have to go back to town each time to reapply the skin.
Step to repro:
- Go to the principal town and go to the wardrobe to apply cosmetic.
- Activate a weapon skin ( anyone )
- Go in your inventory, remove the weapon and equip it back ( the same weapon ).
- Notice that the skin doesn’t stay on it.
Idea : The cosmetic system for weapons should let us pick a skin for each type of weapon, this way even when you change for an other type, you will still have the skim you want.
