Folks i love d1 2 3 4 let me tell ya hue hue.
And my 2 biggest gripes are these,
-
the controller experience is underwhelming… no rumble on crits or any big abilities… they say the game was designed for console but for d4 tonhave like virtually zero rumble is shocking in 2023 its a triple aaa game man.
-
please let us zoom out a little more, its just too close. Add fog of war if you want to but pleas zom us out more man .

What the heck is rumble bump?

I usually turn that stuff off anyways. Saves battery and usually to me its annoying. To each their own though.

Yes please. I would like to zoom out just a bit more. Playing at range you barely see the boss. I would also like to zoom the minimap out more.
I’d like to add my biggest gripe…
- I cant move my inventory around. How hard would it be to just highlight item, click R3, highlight the spot you want to move it to, and click R3 again? The sort feature sucks.

Honest it would feel different if i turned off the rumble myself but only feeling it for like barrel explosions is just weird.
After playing astrs playroom its just sad what is in d4. Its litteraly trash tier compared to everything else not even a little rumble on crits.

Please, no massive “rumble” from big abilities. My arms are still shaking from first week of season 28 in D3 (so, month+ and still counting)…
You can just turn those off if you dont like them. I do.

With vibrations at normal setting I get easily 15-20 hours before 50% warning light turns on. On Elite Series 2 though. Could be different on controllers with small battery.
I play on PS5. I think I get about 8ish hours or so before I am warned. I am told it will still get about 2 to 2.5 hours after that but I never pushed it that far.
Who cares about battery lol u can plug it in or alternate controllers
Have u plaid returnal? Have u played forbidden west?? The rumble and haptics is sooo tight bro.
I want it plz blizzard spend some time to put some rumble in this game fo real.
We want rumble. bump this thread until mods listen
You do realize the mods have nothing to do with the game right, and the DEVS come around less than the small handful of mods do.
Just a little fyi to maybe get you to stop wasting your own time.
I agree with the zoom, but can you imagine playing a build that constantly crits like werewolf and having it rumble constantly. I’ll pass. Most things in D4 are too repetitive to have rumble in my opinion.

I remember when rumble packs came out for Nintendo 64.

It’s… much easier… to just buy a vibrator… They work better as well.
After years playing ESO thinking back to the Necro meta and during raids you can hear everyone’s controller vibrating on coms when one particular skill would land. The raid lead would call it out too saying something like “Necro’s are on point tonight!”
I’m not reporting the thread but it says in the rules that bumping is a form of spam, so the topic title might get it taken down if a mod feels like it.
As written:
“Don’t “bump” posts”
“The act of posting simply to bump a thread is considered spamming. This also includes bumping old threads for no reason. Users who are found to be bumping posts will be subject to forum account suspension and post removal.”
Oh no, I think I just bumped it while trying to explain why bumping is against the rules.

Totally agree, the current implementation is lackluster and a big step back. Part of what makes the game so addictive on controller is tactile feedback.

My man. This guy gets it.
Regression is not progression
Me and at least 2 more guys want proper rumble and haptics.
I thought for sure the DualSense features would get used. I just assumed. I guess I’m getting this on PC now. No haptics and the teleport range with controller is gimped.
Teleport range is getting fixed and i assume all abilities of the same nature thankfully.
Still would love some advanced haptics and stuff, seems like something straightforward enough that adds to the polish of the game.
Ive had my ps5 for a year or so and am still completely in love with the rumble and haptics. I hope at some point the devs take notice.
It adds a lot to “feel” and immersion and for those that dont want it they can turn it off.
