We Still Need Color Customization in Diablo 4

Dear Blizzard Team,

I’m writing to express frustration over the lack of color customization for gear and armor in Diablo 4. Despite requests spanning multiple seasons and mentions in Campfire chats, we still don’t have the ability to choose individual colors like solid red, blue, or black. Instead, we’re limited to pre-mixed, pre-selected colors that restrict our personal expression.

  1. Players want control over how their characters look—full customization would boost engagement and satisfaction.
  2. The community has been asking for this for seasons. Ignoring these requests can lead to frustration and disappointment.
  3. Customization should be standard, especially in a game like Diablo 4, where past titles allowed more flexibility.

Please prioritize this feature. It’s time for Diablo 4 to give players full control over their gear’s appearance.

First of all, before how fancy you should look, i would focus on totally broken game balance, glyphs, stats, world tiers, classes…but whatever…

already made another topic on this :3 can’t all be in 1 topic

Such a simple thing I don’t know why it hasn’t been added. Give us dyes. It’s clear by work on loading screen assets you want us to show off looking cool.

Enable us to look cool!!!

Throw it up in the store if need be I will buy a dye set!

As it stands I’m stuck on Rogue or if I’m feeling generous, Sorc or Barb because as small as it may seem, these are the only appearances that I can tolerate playing as.

No, come on. We had dye tubs in MMOs before D3 was even a thought. This should be a very very basic concept in online games and should not cost any more than we’ve already spent.

Did you use Chat GPT

Good post.

I agree, d3 colors please, slight “tints” aren’t cutting it.
and hell no to the store!

i agree, i want color customization, even for purchased cosmetics… i’m tired of the black/white/red satanic/vampire/gothic style of necromancers, i want to add teal and purple into the mix

that was the first thing i thought about too

You cant be serious Tomyris.

  • nearly every rogue cosmetic armor set got a skirt attached to the chestpiece. This is really bad if you want to pair it with a nice set of pants. Look at the sorcererererers outfits. Theres no skirt attached to the chestpiece so you have combine it nicely with other outfit parts.

  • most outfits are ways too overloaded. You don teven know where to look at first. I guess the designer just wants to show his skills.

  • no black color. yes. we definitely need this. true black dye (Ultima Online players know)

  • we got a new tiger pet and still have no new armor set for it

  • we got miniminimini pets collecting… or better say “helping us to collect” things but wheres a funny little lootgoblin pet or a mini butcher pet or cute pink bunny, dark twiztid ugly demon pet?

  • wheres the blade skin (dagger/sword) for poison fanatics with a nice green glowing effect?

Theres really not much love in ye olde ingame shoppe.

We don’t even have the white or black color options lmao!!!

I’m a huge transmog nut in D4 and so far I have been satisfied with the colour options we’ve been given. But your suggestion for having individual colours would be a welcome addition.

It is a bit odd that we’ve been stuck with the same preset colours for 5 seasons with the resent four additions being added a few weeks back. Simple change yet it took them so long to add. Almost feels like they were getting ready go add “premium” colours to the cash shop.

i doubt we will get individual colour options.

they added like 4 more colour sets recently tho, which is nice. If they keep it up a bit with these presets i think thats fine.

Hopefully they will continue to add more color options down the road.

pretty sure they will. i mean they see the demand and added those new 4. wasnt even in the patch notes.

I guess its just some background work they do whenever they get to it.

Ayo, if you could customize colors better who would buy the $25 skins? Come on, man (joebiden.jpg)

I would because it’s all about fine tuning the look.
