We need Instanced World Housing / More Social Tools. Game is getting boring

I’ve never been one-shot outside Uber Lillith or being under-geared. And Uber Lillith is designed to one-shot (changing in S4).

Then push higher NM Dungeon difficulty and DONT use ur immune spell. Either you oneshot (more as 3 to 5 shot in 0.02 sec) them or they oneshot you. Boring outdated design. Was cool when D2 made it, was ok when PoE did it, but 15 years later its just boring.

Gamers all got e-houses in 2000 when the first Sims was released. Sorry you missed out

ROFL. You’re cute…

I’ve got 4 lv 100s in S3, all have cleared NMD100 and Uber Lillith.

NMD100 is never one-shot. The closest are standing in poison pools with no CDs or failing to notice them, which is just poor playing on my part.

Barb - HotA
Sorc - Telestomp/Blizzard
Druid - Pulvabear
Necro - Summon/Spear Hybrid

Absolutely none get one-shot, and Necro is the only one I really use potions on (due to minions and not having Stand Alone).

Housing would be cool. You could put skulls and dead bodies around. That would be awesome.

You don’t know me. I don’t have to explain myself to you, but I will anyway. I haven’t played since before Season 1 started. I haven’t played any seasons, as seasons do not interest me in the least. I got it for a present, and I wasn’t interested in purchasing it because of what I had heard about it. However, I gave it a try, to see if it could change my mind. I played through the campaign, which I did enjoy aside from the complete ease of it, and reached the endgame. And that was enough. There was nothing to the game to make me “want” to play it.

I have lots of posts on here because I “want” the game to become good. I have offered numerous ideas on things to do to improve the game. I want to be able to play it as I do love the earlier games (Diablo 1 and Diablo 2), and the lore behind them. I bought 3 and was severely disappointed. And now 4 comes along and is closer to 3 than it is to the earlier iterations, and doesn’t bring anything new to the genre. And for all the monetization schemes attached to it, along with the premium price attached to the initial purchase, the game is completely lacking in content. It is a disappointing, early access game done by a AAA company.

Wanting the game to improve and evolve is one thing. Boycott while complaining is another thing completely. Which one are you doing?

Where did I say I was “boycotting” it?

I am not playing the game because I don’t find it fun, and because it has zero depth, and is not built for repetitiveness. I am offering suggestions to improve those issues. This is not “complaining”. It is explaining why I am not playing, and what would need to be done to get me playing again.

You obviously haven’t read my posts then. You can “fire and forget” your games all you like, but I like to see my games improve over time in the current age, especially since the “online capability” was sold to us as a way to do this. Blizzard is also one of those companies that has the resources to be able to do this. To see other, smaller developers, do this with much less just makes this game feel that much worse.

I like the “idea” of the Diablo franchise, and love the ARPG genre. I want the game to improve, and the genre as a whole to get better. If people leave and never comment, that will most likely not happen.

I legit thought i was in the WoW forums for a second when i saw the topic.

I can understand the need for social tools to a degree (like a functional chat function), but beyond that, I would hardly say they are “necessary” for the game.

“We don’t want to be werewolves.”

Yea.

WE. As in including myself.

What’s your point? Or did you think you did something witty?

Well aware. His Season 1 posts and topics was for D4 to become another clone of some other game entirely just having the Diablo 4 name.

PPL are not playing these for years straight because of social tools. It helps for sure but they are playing these because they are MMOS with no end. This is what these games are designed for.
