It is sad to see powers take out, abandoned, or morphed into things like runes. Since there will be more powers coming, create something like an altar of power. This altar (book of power or whatever) will be the station that houses all previous, current, and future power sets. The player clicks it, can only choose one power set, and then they can have access to all the features that the powers once offered. They can swap power sets, but can’t mix and match.
This will allow newcomers to have a small taste of what some of the previous power sets have to offer, while allowing us to continue adding choices for our character builds.

Yeah, because we surely need The Barber back…
Why not make it more fun by allowing mix and match?
Since nobody can really go past Pit 80 anyway, letting players mix and match skills or equipment won’t break the game balance. In fact, it could revive some older sets and open up more creative builds, making the grind feel less repetitive and a lot more engaging.
And how about the power system?
We could go two ways:
- Start fully maxed out – Let everyone jump right into the fun, experimenting with combos without needing months of farming. No more mat-gating.
- New upgrade system – Introduce a light, simplified progression where players collect universal tokens or fusion cores that let them enhance any component, encouraging deeper customization without burning players out.
Either way, the point is to make it fresh, flexible, and fun—not a second job.
Well, I kind of looked at the powers as sort of subclass we could spec into. We’d essentially pick up a second identity - barbaric-witch, druidic-vampire, horodric-sorcerer, etc. Being able to choose everything would kind of take away from that.

This didn’t age well

Diablo isn’t a series that revolves around shooting a death beam because you absorbed a big monster’s soul.
Luckily that doesn’t matter because class fantasy is already dead! Why be a big barbarian dude who runs up and smacks things with a huge weapon when you can conjure magic earthquakes by shouting!
(It’s fun tho I’ll admit that)
Give eternal realm events where they can use seasonal things for 2 weeks. Rotating from which season.
I already gave this idea. As the seasons go by we could have several combinations of powers like Lilith and the barber… It would greatly increase the diversity. Or, why not, the powers come as special items… light blue with powers.
