I am sure I am not the only one sitting on mountains of gems. These need another practical use. Like rerolling items on D2. Else why throw so many of them at us? They have no value at this time.
The gem issue is being resolved in a future patch, they’re becoming materials, so they won’t take up space in your stash moving forward.
what about a Rubik’s cube?

Yep, Season 2, so in the meantime upgrade gems to avoid hitting stack limits if you can.
They’re not going to burn development time addressing something now that they’re already working on for Season 2. So you’ll just have to work with what you’ve got for the time being.
Why are you picking up gems? You just recycle the ones you use in gear… stop clicking pick up.

You do need a certain amount to upgrade, but yeah after you have enough to make 12 of the next tier you really don’t need anymore at the moment.
We can take gems out of items for free and salvaging the items gives us the gems back, so gems raining from the sky is less than helpful.
