I always feel these kinds of posts are an advertisement from the app. I am pretty sure isn’t allowed and shouldn’t be. Everyone should play with the same controls provided by the game.

so if i have a logitech G600 gaming mouse, and im missing left arm, i cant play without getting banned for using the logitech software to remap the controls so i can play with only 1 hand? ridiculoussssssssssssssssss… lawsuit incoming… xDD
does blizard satated in the game requirements the mouse, keyboard and gamepad that we are allow to use?

LOL! That speaks volumes. There’s zero reason to have WASD move characters in Diablo. the only reason they did it in Diablo Immoral was because of the way the port to PC uses mouse targeting. Go back to DI.

theres nothing bad on beign honest if im fair, i’ll like to obtain an official answer to this rather than keep using rewasd not knowing whats going to happen, i guess blizard is pretty aware of the rewasd software, is quite popular… if you use a xbox elite 2 controller on pc and you dont know about this sofware you are living under a rock xDD
Macros made in their own macro maker in the game. Using outside software with WoW to gain functions that the game does not natively have, such as automating a skill rotation, gets people banned in WoW.
The rule is that we are limited to using the tools provided by each Blizzard game.
So, yes, making a macro for your skill rotation outside what the game provides WILL risk your account being banned in ANY Blizzard game.
They do and you consent to it. They know what hardware you have, what operating system, drivers, etc. They know what software is running and interacting with their games when the game is playing.

False. Having a car that is adapted for physical needs does not allow someone to break traffic rules. They have to use that car within the limits of the rules.
People are free to use the multiple options for control already provided with the game to include controllers, assistive devices like foot pedals, etc. They can re-map a key to any button or device they want. What they can’t do is automate the game functions with macros.
ADA does not apply to video games by the way. The exception is the communications which must meet certain regulations. Most game companies do have many accessibility options, but they don’t HAVE to.
If you or a family member need help with Diablo 4 there are lots of Accessibility options already in game, and more will continue to be created as time goes on.
There is a whole team at Blizzard dedicated to helping bring Accessibility features to Blizzard games. They have a feedback address and info here. Feel free to outline your needs and what features work/don’t work. What your needs might be. Keep in mind Blizzard will NOT agree to let someone cheat or approve external software they don’t control for use with their games.

Necro’ing a thread is against the forum CoC but I’ll play along. World of Warcraft published its LUA for mod making but it comes with rules and one of those rules applies expressly against injecting automation meaning that you must execute 1 in game action for 1 human input action by pushing 1 input action you get 3 in game actions ( 3 barb shouts) that is automation.

no one is breaking the rules by remapping or making the game adapt to their special needs, you know that people in wheelchairs can drive cars right? they have an adapted cockpit so they can drive normally and respecting the rules… why do you consider different a piece of software that can make the game easier? i dont mean cheating, just QOL like TurboHUD does… i just checked their screenshots and honestly i dont see anything wrong with it… blizard should work harder and faster than a guy in their basement that developed the TurboHUD software… i would be ashamed if as a big company an unknown user is working harder than me…
If you must move with WASD and don’t want the risk of any ban, just adapt to a controller.

I wouldnt be surprised if it is not accepted.
All they would have to do is allow seamless switching between controller and m/k controls, then you could simply remap keyboard keys to controller directionals…
