Was there some scattered prism hotfix?

i was at zero, after last world boss i didnt pay too much attention as i assumed id just have one again, but right now im at 6 scattered prisms o.o?

Yea I was at 4 and just now was at 6 too.

k, maybe there was some background change or stuff, im pretty sure world bosses only dropped 1 on wt4.

Don’t see any hotfixes notes but they don’t always publish them right away.

I’ve got a grand total of four and I’ve been doing every world boss I can since I started yesterday. Still using unsocketed jewelery because of just how bloody nonexistent these currently are and I’m not going to bother on leveling gear if we’re going to be bottlenecked by these going forward.

did the same up til now, hence why i posted the thread as i suddly had 5 prisms i didnt expect. ^^

Sadly I didn’t get any “extras”. I really don’t get how they keep shooting themselves in both feet like this every single season launch. I’m actually beginning to think most of the QA staff got laid off given just how this scenario repeats every season with exacting predictability.

i think its a little early to talk like this. i mean, im lvl 100 when this happened. does player level play a role eventually?

It better not. Sockets are needed throughout the game, not just at LV 100. It pretty well breaks the gearing system by making anything that doesn’t have a socket almost as much of a downgrade as going from a native legendary to a rare that’s been imprinted (as that would have one less affix than a native legendary).

im not so sure if it really breaks it, i mean honestly, my resistanced looked pretty decent, even with semi optimal diamonds for example. but i agree, something changed there and itd be good if we had better info on that.

is used the prisms up before because i assumed theyd just be there (not in masses, but enough to socket every gear change)

I think this is a new problem for the game and Im putting it in a new good bag bugly post.

Never before had such a problem adding sockets to stuff.

Do these drop somewhere besides bosses?

well as i said in another thread, they used to drop from world bosses and loot goblins, and (tho im not sure) from scrapping gear as someone said. right now its just worldbosses, and as assumed, just 1 per kill.

that being said, im still confused how i got these extra prisms earlier. ^^
