Was The Expansions Core Message....Friendship? Really? In Diablo? (Potential Spoilers, Beware)

Edited the title to reflect possible spoilers. While I don’t consider what I said to be spoilery, after re-reading it I could see how some might, so I decided to go back and add a warning just in case. There’s your warning.

Like without getting into any spoilers why would the developers think that “We can do anything, with the power of FRIENDSHIP!” had a place in the Diablo universe? Don’t worry that quote isn’t an actual line of dialogue or anything so no spoilers. It’s just a brief summation of the expansions overall narrative. If that’s the direction Blizzard is seriously gonna take the franchise then please, somebody, anybody, I need some things:

Some Wiskey
A Raw Egg
A Bottle of Tabasco
And A Gun To Shoot Myself

No friendship for me. I was killed by a cigar smoker, the river carried me away and a swarm of piranhas just ate me. GAME OVER screen followed.

Was that an actual cigar he was smoking or just a block of charcoal?

hahaha yes this was sooooooo bad. Like literally even worse than D4 original.

But at least we have a sexy muscle mummy now aka reskinned D3 monk.

No idea. I didn’t bother getting much into the details of story. D4 base game story is bland. Expansion story is similar. I just wanna get pass the campaign and do the endgame.

Maybe he was just vaping

I wanted to too, but I think I’ll wait until Blizzard decides to fix their crashing and disconnect issue. I’m tired of losing upwards of an hour worth of progress because the game decided “I’m just gonna turn triangles into *$@#$% squares!” and overload my 32GB of ram.
