I have been playing the game since pre-launch, finished the campaign on one class and have started the game with the rest slowly exploring the world and collecting transmogs. My two most progressed characters are a Barbarian (63) and Sorceress (64) and I have managed to find a fair share of transmogs but a decent number is still missing. I do understand some class-specific pieces of equipment are missing because I have not played the classes as much.
What I am interested in is whether anyone knows if transmogs are completely RNG, are they Level locked or if there are specific areas where it is easier to find them.
I already know that the transmogs we have found will be carried over to season one but I am not sure how I would feel if I would again need to push above Level 64 just to have a chance to acquire them.

I do believe some are level locked as you only get certain legendaries that will be a transmog starting at certain levels.
Why did you feel the need to include this? Do you think people will look at you differently if you started a month ago or a week ago?
Also, “pre-launch”? You mean those two stress test weekends? Do you think that makes you special? Most people played those.
I’m still trying to figure out if there’s always gonna be that one empty spot that says, “Salvage items or visit the Shop to discover new looks” because all the armor slots are showing that on my Druid, as well as the Totem slot. But I still have two slots showing on Staves, and several on One-Handed Maces and Axes.
Cuz if they started playing a week ago vs a month ago, it gives some insight based on the information given.
It is merely a rough determinative of the length of time invested into the game. I did not expect to find all the transmogs in the first couple of days but after almost seven weeks of playing daily (sometimes more than two hours per day) I have questions regarding how much more will I need to invest before I manage to find all of them.
