Can’t select/equip clicked on wardrobe piece, somewhat of a workaround; pressing number keys and or spacebar while clicking the piece will eventually select it, also applies for the other skins (horses, back piece, etc).
When wardrobe piece is finally selected, it equips the entire set.
My wife is getting a similar issue, the full set change only seems to impact when she changes the helmet though, every other piece of gear can get changed when we hold right click then left click the item. It’s tedious though and still kinda glitchy – definitely frustrating her.
Apparently I found the only sure-fire solution. If you have and or can use a controller for PC, everything works smoothly regarding wardrobe selection, without any problems.
I’ve been having some issues with the wardrobe too. The “solution” with holding left click then holding right click, then releasing right click works on weapons, mounts, wings.
But for armor, whenever I left click some gloves, it automatically selects the full set of that glove for all of the other slots too, making it impossible to mix appearances. I’ve been noticing some other people reporting the same bug for a while and they didn’t fix yet. I thought that todays patch would fix it.
Guess I was wrong…
Having the same issues on both Seasonal and Eternal. Mounts, back trophy, almost everything can’t be changed. I found an expensive work around for the pet, though: that I can buy a familiar from the shop and hit “apply now” and it will equip, but once it’s equipped cannot change it. What’s the point of the wardrobe if it won’t work?
same here. it has been third times. every time after game updates, this happens. unbelievable.
Same issue still happening - the work-around helps as you all say, but I can’t switch armor without switching the entire ensemble.
Yep, this is where I’m at. The rest doesn’t mater too much because you can eventually click, right click, spacebar etc ‘til it works, but the full set (as though you have left click held down constantly) is ruining my fun, I want to take this helm appearance off but love the rest of the set lmao

I’ve had this exact bug for a few days now… really annoying that I can’t equip individual pieces (if any at all). 
It either doesn’t register when I click on an item or it equips the entire set when I just want to click on one armour piece.
Same here, It’s amazing how many bad bugs there are in this expansion and tbh I don’t see them fixing half of these anytime soon considering there’s still stuff broken and unfixed from last expansion.
Same issue and I tried a full reinstall.
i upgrade drivers and it helped
