Wanted to make an alt

…then I reminded that I would need to discover all map, unlock potions, do tedious quests in skip-all-mode, not even talking about Altars search aka “waste 4h on riding on a horse and alt-tab every 30 secs”…

I don’t mind leveling but this open world unlocks do much more harm than good. Leave them as optional and attach no power. Renown was good for the first character but will feel awfull for the 10th one.

I played 29 seasons of D3 to Guardian level but I can’t force myself to do even second or third Sorceress now. And I enjoy the gameplay so something is wrong.

Is there any hope for patch before season 1 to at least deal with the map and Altars?

Well, altars and renown rewards are ¨realm wide¨
Only one thing you d have to rediscover is the map.

You don’t have to do altars or renown with alts. You get all the rewards from your main. Alt unlocks the major city waypoints. Only thing you really have to do to run dungeons are the Stronholds which IMO are fun so not a big deal.

I have this feeling you don’t know how renown works…

Why would you want to do the altar search again on an alt? For that little bit of exp or gold you can get naturally through leveling?

All the rewards from renown that actually mean something in terms of character growth are account-wide unlocks and you get to keep from 1 char to another?

So basically you just don’t like the game enough to want to play through again as another class.

That’s a pity, sucks to be you.

Still it won’t spoil the enjoyment for the rest of us and I’m sure you can find a game more to your taste to play.

Best of Luck.

Ok so the game didn’t present it clearly enough. Thanks for clarification

then you didn’t read your screens properly… it LITERALLY says so on the renown screen that the top side of the reward block is single-char only and the bottom half is account-wide… don’t blame the game for not paying attention yourself pls…

seaons last 90 days. if you play 3-5 hours a day that is 270-450 hours total per 90 days. it takes 75-100 hours just to level not gear but level to level 100. takes 50-75 hours to level an alt.

3 month seasons = no alt for you billy.

diablo 4 has a non shared/universal passive/skill class system. in other words a wizard doesnt have a dash or twisting blades button. this system usually means that not every class will be able to perform the same types of endgame content. this has shown true in diablo 4 as it was a factor of diablo 2. in other words based on this system the streamer alch can try to kill uber lilith with his hota barb for days but may not acutally do it where as if i roll my face on my keyboard with my tb poison imbue build lilly finna fall over.

what im getting at is if 3 month seasons = no alt for you billy it also = no full endgame completion for you johnny. cant wait for the poe nerds to be mad because they cant actually fully complete the diablo 4 endgame and blame it on class balancing when the issue is 3 month seasons is way too short of a window for how the game functions without power creep obliterating the leveling process to an extent that makes the classic vs retail wow leveling experience difference freakin laughable.

Ok. You are right. We can close the topic

dont listen to this small minority. theyre really trying hard to ruin this game before they flee back to poe and their poe superiority complex. they posses no logic they are simply jackals barking “poe should be every videogame”. pay them no mind.

This game is dead on arrival. If you find it fun, I doubt you’ve reached the end game. That, or, you enjoy staring at grass growing.

So basically no opinion of the game other than yours is valid Mystix.

Oh well that attitude alone is enough to get you on my ignore forever list which is slowly raising the quality of this forum.

Bye bye forever.

Depends on what you considder to be “end-game”… for me thatmeant reaching WT4 (as the only thing you do from that point onward is refine your gear so you can make it through the last 30 lvls

For others that means getting to lvl 100 and then getting a godrolled equipment set.

End-game is just as fluid a term as gender-identity is these days xD
