Vote to bring back AOZ

I get not a lot of people liked it but why remove it? After t100 nmd there’s nothing to do and no challenge. It should stay as permanent addition.

What’s your source on them returning it? I’ve heard nothing…

I cant find it anymore so I have to delete my post now. oopsie!

I would rather have the false hope lol. Well let’s get a petition going to add it again

I hope its not AOZ since there was no real benefit, but if you put the “campfire chat” at 2x speed, they did mention season 4 will have more endgame

in the dev live stream they hinted at it returning next season. they said to tune in to the dev stream for the ptr. so im guessing it is coming back next season

They’ve been saying endgame since season 1. I’d expect the endgame to be massive at this point.

ya and if its AOZ like this l337 guy says… I wont play

just like gauntlet… if you don’t meta, you cant play

I always hated “meta” gaming, its same reason why I stopped playing world of warcraft

I want to play the class I want… not… be forced to use something specific blizz or streamers want me to play… what’s the point of having variety if there’s only 1 way to play all these games…

it makes me depressed and makes me sigh that someone wants this AOZ thing back… hopefully they neglect him

there kinda was :
the challenge itself is neat in itself; no need for more in my opinion much like the gauntlet : though i wouldn’t mind more rewards for the gauntlet (like mats , cosmetics…through points use like pvp )
and the HUGE increase in glyph experience. (it was very quick and easy to max a glyph to lv 21 through AOZ)

you easily can , i was doing just fine while using non meta build even without ubers.
sure i wasn’t doing lv 15+ AoZ but it was still fine and nice to do them up to lv 7. (though by starting with lv 3 at first for a little while)
but you don’t need to be able to do Aoz 10+++ it’s not mandatory, as long as you are able to do Aoz 1-3 it’s still nice.

And the game need content for both casual like us but hardcore too.
which isn’t mandatory for us to do but we can still try.
there’s no point if a game only has content for casual, especially in season that last 3 months , the more hardcore player will quickly feel it to be empty a game need to have content for both type of players

Aoz shoul be added to the core of the game, not only sesonal, and gliff should work only inside AOZ.

lol someone is being neglected irl it seems! Why does it matter if it comes back or not if you won’t play it either way it won’t affect you! I told someone earlier that I didn’t like the gauntlet in the slightest but that I didn’t want to see it removed. At this stage bad content is still content and the reason aoz is the best choice is because they already have the code wrote for it and won’t take 3 seasons to implement something new…

As a side note I don’t usually meta, I have a hota barb that I use to farm gear and Ubers quickly but that’s it everything else is my own design and I’ve got all 5 classes to 100 and I’d like to test them in something as they can all clear t100s easily enough

/20chars

holy massive assumption and projection batman

They said it was a test so they could gather feedback and then reintroduce it or something similar in the future. I think you just need to be a bit more patient.

But hang on every 1 hated that too

No pleasing anyone in this place

Patient? You’re joking right! A game I paid full price for that isn’t anywhere near complete, seasons should be just seasonal quests and the odd major update not the “rest” of the game. You’re literally the only person to say be patient in this entire forum -_- 9 months waiting for content is patience. Partner coded an actual human inside her in that time and these devs can’t even get features to work as intended

so let me get this straight

Duriel, AoZ and Gauntlet is the only things you and blizzard can think of?

and if the mass audience finds these not fun, somehow, millions of people are confused.

except you right?

This is a LOT of unhinged crazy so I will not respond to most of it. I will say though that you brought up ONE thing and I was responding to THAT. You’re now drawing on the entire state of the game and bringing it down on me when I was responding to ONE thing. THE thing you created a topic about. Take a breath!

??? What are you talking about dude. The fact you find what I said crazy is baffling to me I didn’t insult you nor was I aggressive in any sense I was simply stating my opinion and facts to which you weirded out on

Okay… I am the one that weirded out. You did not respond to my point, you just double downed on crazy. Seriously… good night.

This kind of defeats your argument. If you’re only going to make it less than 3/5 of the way through content then your build isn’t doing fine. Of course it’s also not really your builds fault though, AoZ was just badly implemented from top to bottom. Had they balanced it for normal builds and didn’t have the glyph then it mights have been better. That’s what I wish it was, a challenge of our skill instead of just being meta builds and grinding.

For me, I think a combination of the gauntlet and AoZ would be pretty awesome. You know, having the gauntlet style scale up as you progress so getting farther would challenge you more. Sure it might sound like having greater rifts but implementing them better with a better progression would be awesome. Greater Rifts got boring precisely because you could just grind more paragon points until you beat it. D4 has a power cap so you would have to rely on yourself to win instead of grinding higher paragon points to just brute force it. But all that means you can’t just have 25 times the HP on enemies so they’d have to be deliberate in their balancing. Like T25 could have a mini boss room halfway through and it’s 3 Uber Malphas at the same time or something. Could be wild if it’s done right.
