I have only completed the base game campaign on my “main” character that was started when the game first came out, and has since been neglected in favor of seasonal characters. I would like to do the VOH campaign with a seasonal character that has skipped the base campaign. Will I be able to or will I be forced to return to my “main” character and continue the campaign from there?
They already said that you will not need to do the base game campaign, you can jump right into the VoH. The VoH and s6 will be running at the same time so many players (including myself) will be doing the VoH with a new season character. A lot of things will be going on at the same time. We do not know anything about s6 so it will be interesting to see how it will look with the expansion. If people are not interested in s6 they can just run the VoH on NS assuming they purchase it.
