[Visual Clarity] Barbarian berserk feedback

As a main barbarian since the release of the game i have like 10 barbarians lv 100 and
I always found it strange that a fundamental barbarian mechanic is so difficult to see…

I’m humbling asking, can you make berserk more visually sharp?

Since this game doens’t have “weakauras” i never know when my berserk is up or not… i can’t even see that in buffs/debuffs icons… theres too many

Make berserk more red and some kind of steam effects around so i can see if my berserk is up or not.

I wouldn’t mind it being a ‘light’ screen boarder effect in the way having low health is… but to a lesser degree or slightly different color / effect.

I’m not sure how I feel about this. As there are so many ways to trigger beserking it can basically be up close to 100% of the time so anything too over the top would create a lot of noise on the screen. Perhaps something like rogue combo points that sit on the health at to show if beserk is on or not would be better than a visual effect on the character.

Even if they make it bigger, it wont help to stand out against other 1000 animations taking place every frame

it wont be perfect, but it will help. This transparent flame is so bad.

For quite awhile I used the fire damage while berserking just so I knew when I was. lol It would be nice to have some easy to see indication that berserking is active like a red circle around the fury globe similar to fortify.

You literally get a red shine/smoke around your character, its VERY visible.

Its objectively transparent, i’m playing on ultra, a transparent flame which has literally nothing to do with barbarian

Berserking vs None Berserking is very visually different.

i have 800 hours playing as barbarian, its not enough

It doesn’t seem like it’s consistent to me. I sometimes see the red aura on my character but not always, when I know he is in fact berserking. Not to mention most of the time I can’t see my character he is buried in dd and mobs.

Maybe go check your eyes then idk, i have 1400+ hours in this game with maybe 30h of those on Barb and i can tell from the moment i get Berserking to the moment it drops off by just looking at my character.

Try playing a Minion Necro and look for the Hellbent Commander buff

I find it difficult to tell as well. I will usually try and fit a burning rage aspect into my build when possible.

The burn effect is very easy to pick out, but it does use up an aspect slot.

I used to run Aspect of Burning Rage when I could fit it in, the sound can get a bit annoying, but at least you know when its on!

I don’t really need it anymore, because with Battle Fervor and Violent Upheaval there pretty much isn’t a time when you’re not in the berserk state, so you don’t the confirmation so much.

I certainly agree though that the in game feedback could be a little stronger.

It’s not just berserk. The whole UI needs an overhaul to better show short term buffs and debuffs.

Really the space where the picked up items icons are popping up should have been used for short term buffs/debuffs and left the long term ones where they all are now.

Yes I did this too for testing. Turns out you are berserking 99% of the time

I did the same thing lol.
