Not a complaint, but just curious what folks think.
Having finished the campaign tonight, there was only one boss that actually killed me… and she did it more than once. I think the combination of her mechanics being a bit punishing to melee (I play Barb) and being relatively early in the game before our builds really get going + a significant L2P need may have been a perfect storm… but couldn’t help but wonder if I’m crazy or if she was far and away the hardest boss in the game?
What do folks think?
Were you playing whirlwind by any chance? Its one of the worst builds for leveling. The damage is weak and you have no fury generation.
If I had to level again I’d go with a different build until 50.
I think it was some bungabunga build I had thrown together involving HOTA. Didn’t really do a ton of Whirlwind.
I respecced Rend and one-shot her though.

It’s definitely a stupid boss fight.
all the other abilities are annoying to use and make you feel like a chump though
I’m not going for any world firsts so who cares
Thats what I did during the open beta. I couldn’t beat her or the Kor Dragan stronghold boss until I switched to rend, then it was easy. I didn’t learn my lesson and played WW only from 1-70 so far.
This game definitely needs some love still, hopefully season 1 is a better experience.
