I’ve been doing more enchanting and masterworking than farming on my eternal characters, and I ran out of veiled crystals. What’s the fastest way to farm these currently? Helltides? Whispers? NM dungeons? Haven’t actively farmed in months, so I don’t know.
Farm bosses then salvage ancestral uniques for 30 crystals each.
Gamble for pants or boots then salvage rares for 2 crystals each.
Boss runs are not an option unfortunately. I don’t have many summoning mats. What’s the next best option?
As I mentioned in my original post, I’m not playing the season - this is for eternal. Thanks for the tips though.

I usually use an opal for more crafting materials and go to helltide to kill blood maiden over and over. But if you dont have enough of the things to summon her, its probably not a great way to do it.
When I started the season and had no boss mats, nor the toughness to face Duriel/Andariel (HC life), I accidentally found out I can get veiled crystals by running regular dungeons. Not nightmare dungeons (aka keys), but regular dungeons (you walk till the entrance then run the dungeon).
I did regular dungeons just for the whispers XP. Soon enough I had both the veiled crystals and the boss summoning mats (from the whisper chests). This became my season starting strategy.

Yeah the whisper caches drop a ton of veiled crystals too. I ended up running helltide on T3 and getting whisper caches too - got the crystals I needed to finish master working my new gear fairly fast.
Farm helltide BOSS, open all chest,then farm grig
Hell tide, camp at maiden spot. Or kill the PVP boss over and over. You can reset him by logout after each kill and login again at same spot. If you dont have other player steal your kill.
Basically boss is main source of veil crystal and other none obducite mats
Dont pick up gear to salvage, that’s is slower as you have to TP frequently with low gain. Genius D4 design
