I’m trying to get the tal rasha ring. I’ve killed him about 10 times and he won’t drop it for me. What is the fastest way to get the hearts? Please tell me it’s not whispers. I’m tired of doing those and they only give you one and it takes 5.
On a side note why am I still randomly getting body parts? I can’t do anything with those.
You can convert them at the occultist or the alchemist, I forget which.
Also sadly whispers are the most consistent way to farm for the hearts. Helltides, world bosses, and legion events sometimes will spawn the enemies that drop body parts, but it’s not consistent. Not to mention goblins.
I think you can only convert them on eternal but I’ll double check the NPC again. Thanks.
That would be horrible and a huge oversight considering they still drop on Seasonal. Wouldn’t surprise me, but still. I can’t get into the game at the moment, so I’ll have to double check when I can get on.
Thank you mate. I double checked and you can do it at the alchemist. Glad I saved them. I dont think they were supposed to drop in seasonal anymore which is why I didnt think you could change them here.
Conversion isnt exclusive to eternal just like infernal horde isnt exclusive to seasons.
Every event that gives whispers has a chance to summon Grotesque Dealers which can drop 1-2 body parts, so you will get more than just from the cache.
They are also the ones still giving stuff other than the heart though. Every patch where something gets removed, devs forget at least one source of it.
Luckily they can be converted so they’re still useful unlike this season’s fiend roses, last season’s paletongues, etc, and the old sacreds and lower coming from NMD rewards and chests on WT4 during the season they were supposed to be confined to their own difficulties fot the first time.

Hate to tell you mate. Whispers is the fastest way. Save up 30 hearts and do two tormented runs .100% if U can’t kill it yourself you will find a sorc carry who will come along your mats m double your chance. Ubers more drops that almost guarantee it for you
Yeah I should have saved them for tormented but I wanted to try and get it. I’ll be able to kill it fine. I just did 4 Duriel so I can’t imagine he will be harder. Time to farm whispers tomorrow i guess.
