I must share this with you, for not follow my mistake.

Before I was banned on 12th Nov, I have paid for Diablo4 Standard on XBX and PS, paid for DLC also on these two pltfm. Mostly I played on XBX, I have 3 XBX consoles. Then on 12th Oct, I bought a combo for PC on battlenet, reason is I paid other guy to update to 300 which is very very tidieous.

Then on 12th Nov, got mail about account banned, I can’t judge that guy because I don’t know what happened, well, just let it go, and what’s interesting is the folllowing:

So I create a new Battlenet account, and on XBX there is a “+new user” when you login, which is NOT on PS, so I thought this could work, then link then login then create a new character, guess what? A few moments later, this Battlenet account is been closured, not banned, it’s Closure! That was huge! So I think over, it might be I didnt pay for this new account, and login through a XBX Banned account, but wait, it’s a “+new user” right? Well maybe the reason is this new XBX account havnt paid for a D4 game but through another account to start this game? Well, the story goes on.

I login to my D4 banned account, disconnect both XBX and PS. I create a new Battlenet account again, and linked the original XBX and PS to this new account, I thought well this is like before, only I have to start from fresh new map. Because the XBX bad exprins, this time I login to the PS and create a new character and play a little then logoff to wait. Nothing bad happens. This new Battlenet account is not Closure and I COULD login on PC to play. Well? I havnt paid for this account on PC yet right? no not yet, so I paid for this new account on Battlenet for PC by PayPal, it shows “pending” but could login to play with no errors or banned. Why? I don’t know, and more interesting is this account shows " account banned" on the Battlenet D4 page but in subpage of games and subscrip, it shows active, normal. Till now, I could play on PS and PC.

Well it’s time for XBX, remember I linked my original XBX to this new account right? So I start XBX and D4 and, guess what, it shows “account banned”, so I back to PS and PC, normally playing. At this time I think BLzrd banned my XBX account also, BUT NOT my PS account.

Well, that’s what happened.

Look, I get not everyone knows how to speak English well…but this was very hard to follow.

What is confusing me is why it sounds like you paid someone to upgrade or update something for you…not sure what update to 300 means, either. Or maybe you paid him to buy something??? Idk, this is one hard-to-follow post.

Sounds like whatever guy you’re referring to couldn’t be trusted, and he is why you received an account ban. Giving money to a strange person to perform a service for you–be it getting you some kind of game, or even cooking for you–is risky. Sounds like maybe you learned your lesson, but…in the future, perhaps do this stuff yourself, OP?

Odd that you’d be able to play on PlayStation, yet you are banned pretty much everywhere else…

Not to nitpick or overcorrect, but…was not aware that this game had any sort of subscription page. Maybe you mean something else…hard to tell tbh.

Despite the English being poor and hard to follow…thank you for posting and warning people? Sounds mostly like it was the fault of the stranger. Moral of the story? Don’t pay people to do risky things for you. Especially cooking. Poisoning is always a possibility with that. And if you pay someone to buy or do something for you, make sure they are a trustworthy person first. If you don’t know them, they can easily scam you or just plain stab you in the back…

It sounds like they paid someone to grind their character to paragon 300.

Ah yes! That actually makes sense. Hmm…I don’t have the EULA in front of me, or even the User Agreement/ToS–but isn’t that breaking some kind of game rule/regulation???

  2. Half of D4 playing is fun, half of it is NOT because it only costs tons of time repeatly doing same things. So I paid someone else to do the non-fun part. Dosen’t matter account got banned, I’ve already got new account and playing.

  3. It’s Blzrd right to ban account, but XBX and PS version are just a “gate”, still has to bind the Battlenet account which is already got penalty.

  4. Still don’t know why the first new account got Closed, nothing illegal.

  5. Also the Platinum coins should be bond to account not in-game?

Anyway, half of it is fun and I love it.
