Things are spicing up in our corner of the gaming world. In order to stay relevant and not get left in the dust, the Paladin class has to release with season 8. It’s the only way we will survive.

Somehow, I think we’ll be just fine.

I doubt it. I think the more it gets talked about, the more blizzard will stick to their guns and refuse to add classes from previous diablo games.
There’s many shield-based classes that have never been in a Diablo game

Still waiting for a Bard hanging out at the auction house in between trips to the old fishing hole.
And sure, he could use his drum as a shield if that would make people happy.

Balancing will always be an ongoing process . It will never be perfect.
But its not even closed to being balanced. Balance is there #1 issue at the moment.

It’s almost unofficial confirmed, can’t quote but they said they were aware of the community desired old class when they went for the spiritborn while the forums and reddit was full with paladin requests so…

Ooh. I’d forgotten about that one. Odds are at least half of those will be interesting enough to fake-theorycraft with, and as many as ten might even be banger. 
I’m actually looking forward to some stash cleanup just to see what I’ve thrown in there… which is weiiiiird.

Very stark differences in the games and companies. POE 2 had some bad issues but it may be back on track by using the POE 1 devs. They are once again coming after D4 players. IF they make some substantial reworks of some systems they could steal a large chunk. The biggest block is XP penalty on death would have to go and other death penatlies put in place. POE 2 is still early access while D4 has been out for 2 years about so POE 2 is way ahead right now.
