URGENT - PvP pet interaction bug: Your own pet killing you…

From a lot of sources in the PvP community - the seneschal pet skill “Tempest” will kill your own player after killing another player. After killing a player in the fields of hatred when equipping tempest skill the pet turns to you and attacks, not being able to do anything about it until it kills you. Please address this bug ASAP as tempest is one of the main governing stones used by everyone and is a big nuisance that it definitely not intended. I call all players to pin and reply to this thread amd get it at the top priority but squashing list. Please blizzard

This is not the only problem. They forcing in this season rogues play range. But Senechal covering enenemy with his body by his stupid runing around. Also meele miss clicking, its just so bad! Just let him disapear when you step in hatred zone.

edit: Or at least let him be invisible as normally is for other players in word. Whats the point if you cannot kill it why it should be “hitable”

Yes to add on to this, my shadow clone will always attack the pet when I’m using it making my ultimate skill useless for attacking a non-killable enemy. Furthermore when rouges are concealed the enemy pet can still attack/damage/and kill us through what’s supposed to be our unstoppable/unhittable skill. This makes no sense and should be looked into asap as QoL for PvP players of Diablo. Why add PvP zones to Diablo when stuff like these aren’t taken into consideration and completely ignores a part of the game that they created? @blizzard

who care about pvp? u go there only to kill boss 5 times and its all

There is a really good video displaying this made by Bui > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_VhQ2PWnUI

I remember when d4 first launched in season 0, d4 sanctuary pvp chat would be nonstop there was so much interest in PvP.

Season 1 it was still, especially the competitive dueling scene, but PvP started to take a massive hit because devs let barber one shot, and stun bug live in the game for whole season.

Season 2 vampiric powers fully ignored PvP mechanics however it was still fun until the AoZ launched and new glyph was not capped or disabled in PvP turning every matchup into a true one shot fest.

PvP players did not have much expectation to keep playing this game. Part of the advantage of PvP is that its a dynamic combat, with little to no update playerbase its own creates their own content.

But leaving bugs like this unintended is a great way to kill the already dwindling playerbase.

Please blizzard, we do not expect much. Let us play the game we enjoy. And for those who are openminded, yes PvP in D4 can be so much fun.

I will even go beyond and say that some of the PvP interactions have been some of the most fun I had in PvP game in last 5 years or so.

Please fix this issue.

Who care about pve? You get lvl 100 all ubers and beat all “end game” in less than week and PvE players leave the game until next season.

And these PvE players are ppl which blizzard listening, casuals. Crying for everything and never buy anything more than game itself.

PvP part of community which stay whole season and blizzard still dont listen them, no improve, balance or pvp content. And they are real shop buyers

PvP kinda sucks anyway.

The fact that it’s impossible to participate in, until 100, because there’s no type of scaling, frustrates me. What’s further annoying is they tie some really sick cosmetics into the rewards for PvP, but they’re basically impossible to even try farming for, until level capped and well-geared.

PvP supposed to be an harder content. Not everything in the game should be that casually accessible the moment you step in. D4 already made a lot of things in the game casual friendly. If everything is that easily obtainable without having to work for, where is the sense of progression?

There is also scaling in PvP between world tiers. You can easily farm those cosmetics in low tier worlds; tier 1, 2 or even 3.

Before game`s population dwindled, PvP in tier 3, and even tier 2 was awesome providing as early access as possible.

I respect every opinion, and these things are subjective but comments like “PvP kinda sucks anyway” strikes me as nothing more than ignorant, uneducated (on the topic) comments.

Please fix!! We get all the gear and clear all PvE content with our eyes closed. Only PvP is challenging enough to keep us playing.

You still run the same risk of a level 100 showing up and one shotting you.

No, it’s an opinion, which I am entitled to. I don’t like PvP in any capacity and I would prefer these cosmetics to also be available in PvE content. Since I enjoy cosmetics and am somewhat of a collector, I feel obligated to force myself into PvP content, for the sole purpose of attaining the PvP cosmetics.

It’s debatable whether the PvP in this game is objectively good or bad.

If you choose to have uneducated and ignorant opinions sure. You can choose to do so.

I love cosmetics myself, and I am also a collector, but for once I have not complained having to do certain content to get the cosmetic, if I really want it, I will go conquer that content and achieve that collection, that`s fun for me.

It may not be fun for you, but if you really really want that cosmetic and you are a true collector, here is a fun challenge, maybe with a little open mind you might be surprised how things are also fun outside of your comfort zone.

Yes. Please fix this issue. We are not asking for much. We do not need new content, we just want the existing content to be playable for one of our preferred game modes.

As for the PVP v PVE debate. Please keep in mind that the large majority of PVP players are former PVE players who have conquered all that there to do in PVE - and are looking to take the next challenge vs live humans rather than AI. In order to be competitive in PVP, you need to have good gear (which requires PVE), strong game knowledge to experiment and come up with new builds, and the grit to get back up time and time up after getting knocked down.

Competitive PVP is organized by leagues and is much more than “running around 1 shotting everything.” This only happens when you put a PVP build against someone who is not ready for it. The same thing happens if you put someone with best PVE spec in a T30 NMD. It becomes too easy and thus boring. That’s why Blizzard came out with harder dungeons. But what happens after you conquer that? Quit and wait around until next season? No, you step up and challenge yourself against real humans who are smart and will adapt to stay on the top. Its about a growth mindset.

Additional video is also posted on Youtube. > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O3wnu9oV4YY&t=40s

If you skim to the end part, after he kills his opponent, he takes massive damage intake from his own pet. Clearly makes every interaction in PvP currently unplayable.

If you are a true cosmetic collector, making a PvP build and paragon and farming the needed seeds are just another step to your challenge. Just as creating a hardcore character and making a “hardcore” build and level each class to 100 to get super unique mount cosmetics. Very bias thinking of wanting all cosmetics readily available for you to no-brain farm and call yourself a collector. Blizzard added PvP and PvP zones to their game and the fact that it’s completely ignored every season is like ignoring 40% of the game they created that a good amount of player base enjoy to play.
